Euro 2016 qualifiers

Serbia 1:2 now vs Denmark...you can only ,bunch of ****,when they come for national duty, its like they leave all their desire, skill at border.

Fecking finally! 1-0 Ronaldo, scrappy goal but we've been painful to watch so far so I'll take anything.

I think it's fair to say already that we should simply be given the #1 spot in the group because we deserve it. 0 losses, 3 wins, 1 draw. 7-0 against the almighty Gibraltar who Germans needed an own goal to win against ( 4-0 from world 'champions', laughable ). Both the Irish and the Scotts have lost a game now so how can a team that's lost a game be a 'winner' of the group? That doesn't even make sense.

Not to mention that we've won 4-0 against Georgia. Four-nil. USA's state has never lost so high against any other team in the world at home in a qualifications match. Never. Not even against their American overlords. This is incredible. Historic feat, achievement hymns will be sang about.

Jeez, nearly forgot, anybody seen our goal difference yet? 15-2. That's right. Fifteen-two. Fünfzehn-zwei. Quinze-deux. Fifteen goals scored, just two conceded. I'm on the verge of writing a petition to simply give us the WC EC crown already. We can be champions of Africa as well, no problem. feck it man, we can even host it.

Also, look at that goal. Could Ronaldo do it? I don't think so.

Fair points.

I'm pretty sure Germany will kick you're ass in the return . And Ireland and Scottland only 3 points behind will give you a run for your money .

Be interesting to see the table after the next fixture. We have a guaranteed 3 points against Gibraltar while Poland play Ireland. Could look good for us.

Bosingwa starter for Portugal, wtf?

Heh and he was very decent. It just shows the lack of options for certain positions. It was a deserved win against an Armenia team that understandably parked two buses citing Ronaldo´s words. In good position to qualify but then again with these new conditions, only the really crappy teams don't qualify.

Faroes beating Greece.

And Serbia lost to Denmark. Sorry but I have to laugh.
Lord Bendtner with 2 goals, miracles do happen.

Unbelievable. People back home are going crazy. Probably the biggest result in my nation's football history -- closely contested by the legendary upset against Austria 24 years ago. Back then, the Austrian coach, Josef Hickersberger, decided to resign; I wouldn't be surprised if Ranieri made the same decision, or gets sacked.

My girlfriend is greek so i'm a little fan of them but what a great result for Faroe-Islands.....results like that are the reason why Faroe-Islands, San Marino, Malta or Gibraltar shouldn't play a pre-qualification.....they deserve to be there

@Ranieri
I really don't understand how he always gets "top jobs".....he was manager of Fiorentina, Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Chelsea, Parma, Juventus, Roma, Inter Milan & Monaco and his only trophies were a Copa Del Rey title and Coppa Italia

I still remember how 2-3 Chelsea friends of mine were unhappy with his sacking in 2004  (Btw his replacement was Mourinho)

Yeah, I agree. Love it when one of the minnows causes an upset -- I might be a bit biased in that regard though.

Yeah, Ranieri is a strange one. Always seems to get his teams to perform decently, but he also always falls short on trophies. Can't remember the last time he won anything.

Faroe Islands were the better side in the match....so no fluke win with one shot on goal in 90 minutes
Indeed it was. :D Makes the victory all the better! Our keeper wasn't bombarded at all, as he usually would be, and we even wasted a couple of decent opportunities.

You guys should have both eyes on the 3rd place.....Hungary and Finland are beatable too with the same performance....because like said it was a deserved win against Greece

 Just seen Greece's position in the group! They can kiss the Euros farewell after just 4 games...

Hope Sweden and Ireland somehow make it out of their groups.

To the rescue....

Roy Carroll played for Northern Ireland on Friday night as they lost 2-0 in Romania to suffer the first defeat of their European Championship qualifying campaign.

The former Manchester United and West Ham keeper, 37, flew home with the national team on Saturday morning and duly reported for duty with Notts County.

And he quickly donned the gloves again to start for the Magpies in their League One game at struggling Coventry City in their 15:00 GMT kick-off.
Respect

Trapattoni for Greece?

And Dick Advocaat has told the media that he will not be coach of Serbia anymore...

Next probably will be Gus Hiddink...

Backed Estonia to beat San Mario at 1/4 so expect Marino to make history with their first ever qualifying points!

Someone should tell the people of San Marino why they got a point today. I think Rob deserves a statue somewhere near their football stadium.

Everyone makes fun of it but its actually quite depressing and creepy for me.

They had only avoided defeat twice in their history, in competitive games, once in 2002 and once in 1993 both when it didnt matter to the opponents.

Im concerned at how I cannot appear to stop picking historical or significant games to feck up in... its not as if Im picking risky accumulators or games that could go either way. I have a habit of picking extreemely unlikely results to go against me.

1-0 against Russia, looks like we will finally make the qualification for a tournament, still a long way to go, but 10 points out of 4 games looks good, especially because we still have to play 2 games against Liechtenstein and one game against Moldova. 19 points could already bring us in an excellent position.

And Greece , looks like their shit football won't work anymore in a again fecking easy group.

Okotie looks very good these days, I don't know how he's performed for Austria before but I've seen him on the scoresheet a lot recently and he's been great for 1860 too.
