When's the last time Sterling actually done anything? Thought he's the bestest player in the world these days. This is great stuff from Liverpool, I'm genuinely delighted. The scousers around here made this place painful last season.
 
So, are we still as shite as them according to their fans? that seems to be their theme all season to make themselves feel better.
 
Merson and the rest of the other Sky Sports 'pundits' said we should judge where Liverpool are by this game :lol:

1. He deserves time after last season.
2. Who do we get in at this point that's better?

If we're going to sack him, then it has to be done after the season. Any worse than 6th and I wouldn't be sorry to see him go, but unless we're lingering in the bottom half I won't actively be calling for his head for this season and one more.

Fair point to be honest. Absolutely no point in getting rid of him now, there is no one out there that would do better right now...

Agree with that. Think he's the major culprit in Liverpool's current woes, but sacking him now would be completely stupid.
 
What an improvement from Liverpool, with lambert scoring instead of having balotelli. But their defence still shite

But strangely dropped him against Madrid.

Gerrard should surely be used as an impact player. Come on with 20 minutes to go, take set pieces, play off striker, no defensive duties.

Yep, Sterling overhyped like many young English players.
Coutinho is probably their best player.
