Yeah but didn't fabregas actually want to return to arsenal before joining Chelsea? I heard wenger wasn't interested in having him back which is strange to say the least.
It's the same situation with ronaldo if he does leave we will be his first choice 100% but if we don't show any interest then obviously he will move elsewhere. If it's a choice between United, city, PSG and bayern for example then we will be first choice for him.

Played an excellent through pass/pre-assist to Moutinho in the build-up to Portugal's winning goal in their qualifying game again Serbia tonight. Only saw the final 30 minutes so don't know how the rest of his performance was, but he looked very passionate and energetic, pressing, tracking back. Didn't really do much else offensively in that time, but just his whole attitude was so much more team-oriented and selfless than at RM.
On a related note, Moutinho was marvellous in that half hour, winning the ball back in MF and Serbia's defensive third several times and showcasing his excellent close control and shielding of the ball (almost Xavi-esque, to make the connection with @Brwned 's comment in the qualifier thread). Also put the winner on a plate for Coentrão with such a precisely curved cross. Excellent assist that was.

So you think he's significantly changed his style of play at Madrid? I loved him as a pure winger in a 4-4-2. I get that his talent transcends positions and he should be given free reign - but the sight of him running at a full back and twisting him this way and that before whipping a cross in - wow. Now he's just a pure goal machine.

It really is amazing how such a famous goalscorer is able to find so much space. Some of it can be put down to poor defending, but you have to give him lots of credit for constantly being able to find gaps in a crowded box.

I think only himself and Messi are the only two players in the world who could score five in a game and it just feels ..... normal. Anyone else and would seem amazing but these two are just too good
