If he was then do you honestly think that Real would sell him? (I think he's past his best tbh but I wouldn't say no if he was cheap enough).I'd say he's smack bang in his prime.

quoting myself again to say the same thing about this transfer
will be shocked if this transfer actually happens, ramos will get his wish - pay raise and new contract.
Must be me...I didn't think Di Maria was in his prime either. He had bought Bale though so he could afford to part with DM.Its Perez. He just sold Di Maria in his prime less than 12 months ago.
Not sure, don't follow him its a pic i nicked off another site. Pretty site i remember him saying that though
He is trying to get a new deal with Real
So if he is flirting for a new deal and Real doesn't want to give it to him, where can he go from here? Surely he has burned the bridges with Real?
lol Ballague said that? Thought he was supposed to be 'in the know' always, well most of the time.. i guess.
They'll reach some sort of compromise he might not get exactly what he wants but I fully expect him to sign a new contract and get one last raise.
It must be amazing to hear Woodie just throwing names in the phone when Madrid call for De Gea.
Perez: So Ed, what do you want for David?
Woodie: Bale, Ronaldo, Ramos, Benzema, Hugo Sanchez, Raul, Zidane.
Perez: Ed, Sanchez is 58 now.
Woodie: You bastards drive a hard bargain here.

These days you just hand in a transfer request and then 12 months later become captain...
Oh look another dig at Rooney on redcafe how refreshing!!
What about Celtic?
They love to do it, don't they.Oh look another dig at Rooney on redcafe how refreshing!!
Pretty disgraceful if you put it that way. These days you just hand in a transfer request and then 12 months later become captain...
So, he met with his agent (and brother) as well as a lawyer:

They have another article with a video, too.
And a prediction of Ramos' future at Madrid post-Casillas if this deal never materialises - the captaincy that is.
article states he is "enraged" and they have a pic of him smiling ear to ear like a Cheshire cat
He knows full well that whatever the outcome he'll be better off from it, either he'll get a new contract with Madrid with bumper pay day (most likely) or get an even bigger pay with us.
Or Chelsea, Bayern, City etc who will get involved if he ever does become available.
Who cares if it looks worse. If we wouldn't have the chance to sign said player without De Gea going the other way, we should make it happen, regardless of the cash involved. Seriously, what does £10m-£20m really mean to us in the grander scheme of things? If De Gea is going for sure, we should try to get the best player possible in return. Why are they trying to cushion the blow? We all know he's leaving, I think we'd rather just not have to hear it being dragged out every day. If we were to get somebody like Ramos it'd be De Gea plus cash, which would look a lot worse.
Yep, Carragher talking sense there. Ramos used to be so underrated on these boards.http://talksport.com/football/exclu...l-man-united-fans-over-sergio-ramos-criticism
I agree with Carragher on this one.
