That shot by Costa would've rustled the hair of most keepers. Not Benaglio's. His hair looks like it's been carved out of wood.
I've said it before, he has barely done anything during his time at Bayern. 2 or 3 games in which he was really great, one last minute game winner, but most of the time he just looks pretty on the ball without doing anything relevant. Götze gets so much stick for better performances, it's ridiculous.

That could've as well been a red for Neuer imo, knee high challenge, shame it didn't go in.
He had a good excuse for these performances, because he was always injured. Now he is fit and Pep will start him every game, so I expect a lot more. He isn´t even the "makes us tic" kind of player. He is just there and has almost no impact at all.

Wolfsburg beat Bayern 4-1 last season. Somehow they really seem to have their number. I hope I don't jinx it. Makes the league very interesting, especially if Dortmund wins tomorrow.
Very good game by Wolfsburg so far. Guardiola needs to make some changes. Lewandowski will come in very soon for Bernat or Götze i guess.

I absolutely agree. From a German national team perspective as well I can't understand why Pep didn't keep the German midfield core. Kroos wanted to leave it seems and Schweinsteiger was granted his abroad time for his services with the club. But surely this development was partly a result of Pep messing with the midfield that was in place.
Gündogan would be a good buy I think. But for Dortmund's sake I kind of hope it doesn't happen.
I won't blame Pep for it, it just sucks whatever the reason. I hope our one great Spanish midfielder will start regularly again very soon.
