Was this before or after watching The Warriors?
We would alternate between Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Robin Hood and Star Wars.

Did you enjoy the love scenes on Naboo?Attack of the Clones
Thankfully Liam Neeson isn't in this one but not to worry, there's a ready made boring, monotonous, replacement in Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker) who might just be the worse actor in the entire franchise. He's good looking though but shit at everything else, facial expressions, timing, emotion etc.
Anyway, better than the previous one, less Jar Jar more C3P0. Thought the action sequences were a lot better and I enjoyed the droid/clone battle.
A few dumb things though like sending in bugs through a droid to assassinate padme, why not just put a gun on the droid to shoot her up?
6/10
Not quite sure where to put this but I saw these 3 brilliant videos on youtube and wanted to share them:
Gyllenhaal deserved an Oscar for his performance. Also, it seems the way to be regarded as a great actor is by playing a manipulative sociopath/psychopath.
Robin Hood Prince of Thieves:
This was a film that in my childhood I would watch pretty much every Saturday morning with my sister. I would like to offer a formal apology to my father for putting him through such torment.
Looking forward to this.Steve Jobs - Superb. Quality performances from the entire cast and Sorkin's screenplay is as good as you would expect. For a film that consists purely of dialogue it absolutely flew by and I would rank it up there with The Social Network.
It real was terrible wasn't it? Alan Rickman seemed to have taken overacting lessons from Pacino and De Niro and then taken something in pill form. Kevin Costner didn't seem to have read the script or even a plot summary so wasn't even aware that it was set in England. And that fecking song is spawned.
So, just watched Apocalypse Now. Let's just say, I'm too afraid to write my review on here.
No, not exactly. The first two hours were great. But all I was waiting for was Sheen to meet Brando. And when it happened, it was all a bit underwhelming. I like it when part of the film is left open to speculation, feel like AN went slightly overboard in this regard. Not completely satisfied really. Going to watch the documentary on how it was made tonight. You disliked it?

Original version I think, it was 3 hours 15 minutes.Did you watch the original version or the Director's Cut?
Documentary is a brilliant watch. It's amazing the movie ever got finished. Enjoy!

It's ok to hold that view, just means you're an awful human being. Just kiddingNo, not exactly. The first two hours were great. But all I was waiting for was Sheen to meet Brando. Redux was definitely inferior.

I won't lie, we rewatched some of his dialogue twice because it was just THAT good. The bit in the dungeons was acting at its very, very best. I think even he knew it was ridiculous dialogue based on his facial expressions, there was a point I kid you not that he did like a cringe smile after one terrible pun "hanging about". We watched that bit at least 3 times!![]()
It is a terrible thing when we realise something we loved as a kid was in fact utter shite. There was a western I LOVED as a kid. No idea what it was called now but they found a secret passage through a rock wall in the desert by being at a particular spot at a particular time and the shadows revealed the entrance or some such tosh. I suspect I would cringe significantly if I saw it now.

For the record, I think Godfather Part I and II are perfection, especially I.Never he afraid to let people know what you think of the 3 best films ever made.
