You are right, but my point is that Leicester are playing like they are because they respect Ranieri's instructions. It was the same with Monaco, like a true italian he is all about tactical drills and collective organization in defense and in attack.
Exactly, he organises both ends of the field. The players, I would say love him to bits.

It's LvG's fault that a 20 year old is left trying to carry the attack.
No, that's LvG's merit. He inhereted 3 strikers, one is not fit/good enough to start for Fenerbahce, one is lucky to start for Leverkusen, one is injured and we are lucky he is. Martial is the better of the three by some margin I'm afraid so that was a very good find. It's a shame he didn't pull another rabbit out of the hat, but it's not possible to buy a world class front three/attacking four in one or two years, there are not enough on the market. Every world class attack around took a lot more years to collect.

Then we are stuffed.

The bloke who just won Bundesligue player of the month and scored something like 12 goals in 17 games is lucky to be starting for his club?

I can't imagine where we'd be had De Gea's transfer gone through.

Another injury now to Morgan. We all saw this coming with the thread bear squad and most new it would happen around xmas. On top of that, the negative football, terrible tactics, pathetic substitutions, not qualifying from an easy CL group (unless we actually score a goal), the lack of any emotion and the complete desertion of any form of attacking football. The sooner he's gone the better. LVGOUT !!

It's strange seeing long time posters I usually associate with positivity being so negative, not that I can blame anyone for feeling down about the drudge but it seems even more apparent than under Moyes. I'd say only results are keeping the heat from going nuclear on LvG right now, but sacking him before the summer wont do us any good IMO.

Fergie would have been running away with the league by now. Sigh.

Maybe because we had a good idea Moyes would be a disaster. We were expecting so much more from LvG. It is disappointing.

That's a fair point, the fact the quality of the football has actually regressed from last season is the biggest disappointment as it wasn't great but showed some shoots of promise.

Some of the games for Moyes weren't bad, but by the time he was sacked a lot of the players had seriously spat their dummies out.

Time for sack watch thread yet?. Maybe on Tuesday??

We won't win in Wolfsburg so may as well create it now.

Lost all faith in Van Gaal. The players look like they feel the same.

Do you think LvG has lost the players? It's hard to tell at this point, under Moyes it was very visibly obvious.
I think it might just happen. If they are getting constantly booed off the pitch then they will be looking for someone to blame and any grudges there are will come out.

Ex-players criticising our style and performances points to this being the case. Some of these players are still around Old Trafford on match days, and in the same social circles as present players. There must be conversations.

i thought i saw it near the end of the 1st half v LC but schwiney scored. but yep i thought their hearts weren't in it.

I can't remember many games when the fans booed the team during Moyes' tenure. Dissatisfaction has been getting a lot louder this season by the game.

Just listening Terry Gibson on Talksport, who knows his stuff about Spanish football and also Pep, says we should be at the head of the queue for him. He thinks there are only two jobs in the PL he would like, us and Arsenal.

LVG would be smart to ask for reinforcements in Jan especially if we go out of the champions league this week. He could be gone in the summer and bringing in a player to transform our front line could be the difference between winning the league and finishing 3/4th. The league is wide open so we should show some ambition.

The shackles are off though now, people don't care anymore. During Moyes, it was more of a case of saving face because if you showed that you were pissed off in any way it made you look like a shit fan.

It was out of respect to SAF as he picked Moyes. LvG is on his own. Also his ego is that big and still he doesn't realise what is wrong.

Because Mourinho has lost the plot and pellegrini is failing the Worse case scenario for next season would be,

Pep to city
Klopp who's already at pool but he will have his own signings and shifted most of deadwood.
Ancelotti back to chelsea

Who would that leave us with? We desperatly need throw ridiculous money at pep then if that fails Ancelotti, if the above scenarios happen and we keep the idiot we have now or end up with giggs (please God no) we can kiss goodbye to top 4 for a good few years.

I'm seriously worried the direction this club will go in, the next few seasons seriously do hinge on next summer and how things pan out.
