Carlo deserves his own thread. This one is about him and Bayern, not just Pep.
"too big to fail"Mourinho will be on the market. Blanc also. Allegri could be tempted
United are bad, so bad dealing in transfers my god
Guardiola hates committing to things ahead of time. Their activity helps them play it safe, but they might have been able to keep him if they gave him more time.Bayern are just so active. They really don't waste time.
and then what ?If we don't get Guardiola, we're incompetent and the board should get the sack, along with Van Gaal.
Step 1: sack everyoneand then what ?
and then what ?

Fail to get Pep or Carlo and you can kiss goodbye to any success for the foreseeable
I respect that approach from them. Prioritising the clubs future safety above all else and if Pep has doubts then onto the next one.Guardiola hates committing to things ahead of time. Their activity helps them play it safe, but they might have been able to keep him if they gave him more time.
That's one hell of a hangover, basically tearing the club hierarchy to pieces. It would take a very long period to restore ourselves and could risk long term decline. LVG can go at the very least. We'll start again with better personnel. I've said all along that if we don't act decisively, sack Van Gaal and do everything to get Pep that we won't win anything for years when he inevitably goes to City. we've spent 250 million under Van Gaal and we're still crap. That is A the fault of Van Gaal for his poor spending and B the fault of our board for entrusting the job and the money to Van Gaal.
It happens in football, but the biggest club in the world missing out on the best manager and watching him go the other club in Manchester will be like a death knell to me.

Has this been confirmed then? Can't find anything anywhere...
