Harry Kane - 2015/16 performances

that's how you take penalties, great player, needs to get him for any money

he scored 12 in the premier league this year, it's 11 more than Falcao

4 goals in the last 9 games(Norwich home (2), Soton away and S'land home), 2 of which penos..

Played almost full 90 mins in all 22 games so far. 12 goals(3 from penos), 1 assist. Goals against Bournemouth away (3), WH home (2), City home, Villa home, Norwich home (2), Soton away, Arsenal away, S'land home.

Not sure he's hitting the same heights as last season.

Now I understand why Real Madrid may want to replace Ronaldo with Kane..

He was poor today I thought, but there's no denying he is a quality player.

I agree it was probably the worst game I have seen from him this season, during his "goal drought" early on in the season he was usually playing much better than he did today.

I would say Augero is the only striker better than him in the league.

But didn't he work the keeper 3 times with very good efforts? He was sloppy at times, but when a striker is having good efforts well saved, then he has to be doing something right. I just don't think the average Prem striker works the keeper as well as Kane did today.

He'll have to become a lot more clinical if we buy him so. It'll take him a month to get three clear cut chances.

I'd say he was poor compared to his usual standard, the fact that he still had a descent game compared to the average prem striker says something about the level he has been playing at for the last year.

The reason I pointed out his chances is because they weren't really put on a plate for him. He got shots away due to needing very little back lift and working the space for himself. I don't think many strikers get shots away, let alone work the keeper, as he did today. So i think he'd do the same for us. It wasn't as if Lamela, Eriksen and Ali were creating much.

Doesn't really say much when ighalo and vardy are his competition.

I think he is so raw still, as he can stink up the place when he has a bad game. But like this whole Tottenham team, who are raw, but there is undeniable talent. Looking forward to seeing england benefit from his development. I wouldn't want to pay anywhere near the sums thrown about for him though

I'd take Kane in a heartbeat, but it's probably too late. He'd be a perfect fit for us. Not sure we why didn't go in for him last summer.

Giroud, Martial, Sturridge and Lukaku are all better than those two, he's been a significant improvement on what we have, £50mil in today's market seems fair.

He'll have to kick up some fuss for anyone to sign him now. Tottenham would only consider selling for £70million+ now I'm sure, and no one can really blame them.

Only hope is that Spurs miss out on CL over the next couple of years, and that Kane had ambitions to play in the CL. Let's just hope we're back on a good level by then :nervous:

Because Levy would've wanted a billion quid for him?

Because people thought he'd be a one season wonder?

Because LVG and Ed are absolutely fecking useless at transfers?

Take your pick.

Great goal. Still runs like he's wearing a backpack though.

He's so useless in aerial duels for someone that's pretty tall.

Hes really good and would want him at United. But theres also some frustrating elements to him (mostly that he keeps shooting, and I know hes a striker but there are times you have to remember its a team game and others are in better positions).

Was really crap against WHU, anonymous when level field, but great goal indeed.

He's a class act and his all-round play and work ethic are extremely impressive along with his goalscoring ability.

Me too, he is strong, good first touch and lays it off progressively rather than just constantly pushing it back where it came from.
that has a lot to do with overall spurs play but he's great number 9. Kane upfront Martial from the left and Rasher from the right:-)

He was not anonymous before the goal. I remember him linking the play well several times and he had quite a few shots. It was also his run that got Coquelin sent off.

He's a £40m player but it will take almost double that to get Spurs to sell. For that kind of money, I'd rather go for Dybala.
