Hire Jose. No Giggs/LVG - we needto be aggressive now - can't have our rivals with top notch bosses and us fumbling along.
It is but they could have waited until the season is actually over to announce it.Pellegrini is a decent manager, Guardiola is an elite one. It's a perfectly valid decision.
I actually think they have gone about it the right wayIt is but they could have waited until the season is actually over to announce it.
Who would be your choice to take us to that style?
Mourinho fecks over every club he stays at ffs, why did we sack moyes. I said it, i said it when we sacked moyes. Liverpool won every single league title during the 80s, and then boom the 90s came and they fell away. United are moving in a similar fashion.
At least it's put to bed now rather than further months of speculation. It pretty much leaves us with Mourinho as the only prize fighting option unless we look at Poch, Blanc etc. As long as it doesn't mean LVG will be staying on!

Make sure that Jose will take the job in the summer, if Giggs doesn't like it he can piss off.Hire Jose. No Giggs/LVG - we needto be aggressive now - can't have our rivals with top notch bosses and us fumbling along.
Absolutely embarrassing for City btw. a manager who could win them the league and is in another final announced to be going. What an absolute farce from that club. Poor Pellegrini.
People getting in a twist over something we've known for a while? Why?
I'd rather go for Pochettino
EhOh sound lets just disregard a massively successful manager because someone has decided he is elite.
It's a bit pathetic really. Who cares about support and history when there's a shiny new toy. Secretly Man City fans will be feeling apathetic towards this. Why appoint Pep when in two years there will be a hot new manager to court. City used to pride themselves on their homegrown appeal, local fans and commitment. Now they have to put up with this.
Or we could go the Chelsea way...13thIf Mou is not our next manager, we are going down the liverpool way

Despite the negative set up in big games, Mourinho's teams do actually play good football. His Madrid side were entertaining as were some of his Chelsea side. I would take him here regardless of the baggage he brings. Blanc would be a decent shout also, but it remains to be seen if he can do it outside of France.that is a tougher question, I'd love to see if Mourinho is capable of adapting to it or Simeone
however I wouldn't say no to Poch but we have no chance of Spurs doing a deal on that

Are you insane? Like seriously white jacket level insane? You suggest we take on the richest club in the world with the best manager in the world in charge we a guy who was a terrific player but has no real managerial experience?
Liverpool also won 6 titles in the 80'sIs that a serious question?
Very little business is done in any January window. It means absolutely nothing.Giggs won't take over, the coffers have been closed this Jan when we needed reinforcing, and if Giggs was to take over we'd be looking at his targets for next season now.
It'll be someone externally, probably Mourinho, and hopefully he'll be backed financially. This also gives him plenty of time to asses the club, target players and hopefully bring some bloody stability.
