They're both great but Brotherhood is the one with the quality ending.
btw - I'm around episode 250 of One Piece now, loving it to bits.

Excellent for most part, with the best music I have ever heard in an anime.
The ending didn't make much sense though.
Will eventually watch Brotherhood, people say that it is better.
No loss watching both. You'll find some parts are better in the original,but once it gets to the middle, there's no comparison - Brotherhood had the advantage of having the fully completed manga to work with and blows it out of the water.
@Ødegaard can ya recommend me a decent sword action anime? Something with some sort powers involved preferably but I'm not too fussed either way.
Not exactly powers, but: Rurouni Kenshin. A great anime for sword-fights. You'll follow Himura Kenshin (formerly known as the Battosai (Manslayer)), who has since the end of the war renounced his killing ways, and tries to make up for all the blood he shed by protecting life instead of taking it. He does so with a reversed-blade.
As for super-powers: Bleach gives you tons of different sword techniques (in super-powered form), a great main story (there are fillers that aren't as enjoyable for most). It's about a young boy who can see ghosts, and who later on gets caught up in a life-or-death situation where he has to take a decision on if he wants to become a soul-reaper/god of death (shinigami) in order to save his family. The story continues with arcs involving the society of shinigamis and a plot to overthrow both the human-world and the afterlife, where he has to improve at every step in order to make his ideals prevail, and save his friends.
Chrome Shelled Regios is pretty good, but this one is a lot more like Sword art online than for example Berserk. You have the fighting scenes (and the fights are mostly against monsters), but it's also been done Regios (moving cities) fighting each other for resources. It's set in a post-apocalyptic world where you follow the story of Layfon Alseif - a young man who has a mysterious past as a legendary fighter who got expelled from his original city and tries to make a new life for himself in the Regios the story is centered around. Whilst the swords in this anime is weapons that are modified, you get to see them modified as Katanas and other stuff (the weapons themselves are called Dites).
Obviously there is Sword art online, which is more of a harem-show with some extreme plot-holes and psychological-holes, but if you are able to see past that then it's an enjoyable show, and for those who get invested in the love-story it's a top show. There is sword-fights here and there, but most of the show is down to the pre-mentioned love-story between the two main characters, and their (and their friends) struggle to get out of the virtual reality massive multiplayer online game that they are trapped in - which is also a death-game where you die in real life if you die in the game.
Claymore follows the "silver eyed witch" Clare, who is given the task by her organization to hunt a demon that is killing innocent people in a village, I really don't want to spoil too much, but there is swords in it, and it's a great show that isn't very long.
Devil May Cry follows Dante, a demon hunter who himself is a half-demon, he is the personification of badassery. You follow him through different missions where he hunts demons. While there is a bigger plot, each episode in themselves are pretty enjoyable. He uses a sword & guns as his weapons of choice.
Kaze No Stigma isn't exactly what you are looking for, as it's centered around magic, and not swords, but one of the two main characters is a fire-magic user who's primary "magical instrument" is the family hairloom sword, that is handed down to the leader (or future leader) of the clan of fire users. I'm mentioning it purely because it's a very good show that has super-powers in it, and some badass scenes, but again, it's primarily focused around magic and not sword-fights.
Other shows that involves swords - but doesn't necesserily have them as their main power/weapons of choice in the show that i still feel deserves a mention is Shura no Toki (Mutsu Enmei-Ryu Gaiden), Brave 10 & Fate-series with unlimited bladeworks, stay-night and zero.

Just caught up with the manga, and I'm crazy excited for the Four Emperors saga!
* The one after it might be the penultimate one though - as they approach Raftel, so it's kind bittersweet. 
And still no new nakama - not even Jinbe. Somehow get the impression that it might be Jewelry Bonney. Her crew was presumably killed by Teach (so she definitely wants to take down a Yonkou?), and she might be an important character on Whole Cake island too - what with the superstructure of her ship being shaped like one:
Or maybe she'll end up forming an alliance with Marco because of the Whitebeard link, so an indirect ally of the Straw Hats.

So apparently the producers of the Ghost In The Shell clusterfeck, sorry, "remake" experimented with visual effects to make Scarlett Johansson "look more asian" and decided that it didn't work.

Dressrosa was way too long. It started off great and then just dragged on.It sure is.
I'm loving this Raftel talk though. Its been so long and finally we are getting a few answers.
Yeah, Dressrosa was a bit stretched out to be fair, but you get the sense that we're about to dig into the real meaty portion of the overarching story - starting with the Four Yonkou Arc. And it's all kinda coming to a head - them lot, Blackbeard vs Akagami, Robin and the Poneglyphs, All Blue, Revolutionaries, Void Century, the Gorosei, Will of D, One Piece, Shiki. Reckon the 'dream' of each Strawhat will be realized in Raftel.
Yeah, it does feel like we are hitting the final act of the story so to speak. I just hope it isn't rushed like certain other series.
I just caught up with the Shingeki No Kyojin manga, the last chapter was pretty damn great.
I have conflicted feelings about the ending though.
On one hand, I hope Erwin dies. I love the character, and it would be sad to see him go, but no one important has died in ages. An honorable death leading a diversion suicide charge would be a great way to wrap up his character arc, and reinforce the original feeling of the first couple arcs that anyone could die any time.
On the other hand though, I kinda buy into the theory that Levi slipped Erwin the titan serum during their last conversation. This might not be the last we see of the beautiful blonde one-armed bastard.

Can anyone recommend a good Cyberpunk/Tech noir anime please. Already seen the Ghost in the Shell SAC and movies, no mecha nonsense either please.

Or just not made it all. GITS is a notoriously complex anime, this'll probably end up being a diluted, generic sci-fi flick that calls on every transhumanism cliche in cinema. A shit Blade Runner if you will.

. The hair episode is one of the most hilarious I've watched.One Piece is really good at the moment, I'm at the end of Ennie's Lobby, Luffy just reunited with his Grandad, and they have almost recruited Frankie. Learning about Luffy's past is really interesting as he's a bit of an anomaly. To be honest I could ever have seen myself watching 300+ episodes of a single series but this has just been so good, and the pacing has beengreat despite the odd stretched out arcs. I'm looking forward to more One Piece...hope it doesn't go really bad as suggested after the time skip hah
