Leicester have been the best team for me so it would have been a bit of a shame to see Spurs win it (although they are the only other team you can make any kind of case for). THe difference for me is Leicester have responded well to bad results or pressure. Spurs when they really had their chance did a bit of a Spurs and started finding ways to not win games. Even tonight...a win would have made next week very interesting, so of course they were going to draw.
Can't see them losing any of the core members of their squad. Their players ala Kane, Alli, Rose, Eriksen, etc can only improve.
I don't think any of them bar Alli will improve that much...although in Kane's case he just needs t keep up what he has been doing and it wont matter. They need to sign players if they want to be up there again next season. Good ones.
It's been a weird season and realistically City, Arsenal and even United and Chelsea COULD have better teams than them next season...if they strengthen correctly themselves though it does make it interesting. It's just, there's still this thing where because it's Spurs I expect the opposite to happen...I still half expect them too find a way of finishing outside the CL places.
Seriously though, it's a shame both Leicester and Spurs can't win the title, as both have been excellent.
Nah, it isn't. The Spurs fans at work have been exceptionally annoying.
We aren't 2nd yet, we still realistically need 4 points for that and 2 to finish top 3.
Can't see you doing worse than 2nd. Arsenal wont win all their games now they've managed to put themselves under pressure again (somehow), and City still have the CL to deal with. I'd think United could end up ahead of both of them except for the fact United almost certainly still have at least one circus clown performance left in them yet as well.
The only two teams who've been reliable consistency wise at any point all season are Leciester and Spurs, and that's why they're the top two. I don't think anyone else has really been that close. City or Arsenal when they turn up...but both have alsso had a tendancy to play like pub sides quite often.
You could turn it round and say Utd fans are up their own arses when having not looked like challenging for 3 years they will suddenly be doing so if they employ Mourinho?
Or you could simply think it's just different people having different opinions.
Nah, when you consider what Mourinho did at Chelsea this season, it's definitely the insertion into arse thing! The only thing bringing in Mourinho guarantees is that more of your season than necessary will be dedicated to annoying Arsene Wenger.
