Fernando Santos will have to stop messing up. Put players playing based on merit/form and not because of their names. André Gomes, Vieirinha, Eliseu and João Moutinho shouldn't be in the team.

Thought Portugal had a really good game vs Austria but were unlucky not to score at least twice. Today you conceded two deflected goals and that was a bit unlucky as well but your defence wasn't good. If you play like that vs Croatia it won't be pretty. But you won't play like that and you can go further in the Euros.
He is playing injured. It's not because of lack of quality that he should be off. João Moutinho on the other hand is really out of form.
He had an atrocious season at Mónaco (injuries and form) and is struggling physically. He is usually in the top 3 performers in our national team along with Ronaldo and Nani.

Who usually starts at LB for Portugal ? Eliseu or Guerrero ? Cause Guerrero seemed a better player for me.
Guerreiro and he played very well in the first two games. He didn't play today because of injury. Eliseu is crap. Can't understand how Antunes wasn't picked instead of him.
Yeah Eliseu is terrible, is Guerreiro going to be fit for the knockout game? I thought Quaresma was great when he came on, gave them a lot more width and seemed to free Ronaldo up a bit. The first time I noticed Andre Gomes was half an hour in, I genuinely thought they'd made a sub and I hadn't noticed, but nope apparently he started
Also I thought Eliseu was a central midfielder because of how badly out of position he was all the time, and his decision making is awful.
I dunno mate. Dunno how serious is Guerreiro's injury. Agreed about Quaresma. But his best performances come as an impact sub, so i think Santos will mantain him on the bench for the game against Croatia. He will probably enter in the second half. About André Gomes, he is struggling with a leg injury, i think he won't be in the starting line up against Croatia.
