Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Have United ever been this decisive and quick shifting with a big transfer? Im amazed at the pace this has moved at.
I think a lot of it comes down to Jose being such a decisive manager who knows what he wants and gets after it. He also seemingly had months to prepare a shortlist of players before we officially hired him.

So glad with how fast we're operating this window, as opposed to the dithering with Moyes and Mr. Philosophy

I'm willing to bet that at least to begin with Mourinho goes with a 4-5-1 like this.

Pogba----Schniderlin
------Rooney--------

He's already said that Rooney has a special gift for scoring goals so he won't play as a CM and will instead play 9 and 10. I personally think Rooney will flourish in that midfield and will become a real favourite for Mourinho because quite frankly he's a far better play than this forum makes out. If he doesnt perform then that's the only way that Rooney will get dropped but that won't be before Rooney has had a fair chance to find his form.
My thinking too

Anyway.
Juve fans on Twitter are in meltdown. Apparently a Juve ITK has said in a podcast that this is a done deal.
Yeah right give us the Twitter account or its bs. People on Juventus said they were trolling.

Seems to be all going so quickly on the final day of the Euros. I wouldnt be shocked if this is done in the next few days.

If we get him, how does our starting Xi stack up against those in the PL end Europe? On paper only of course.

IF we get Pogba it will be very interesting to see how it affects Rooney. Surely we shouldn't restrict Pogba by playing him in midfield two. He should be given a free role in a 4-3-3, but that would mean that there's no place for Rooney.

Great news hearing that Madrid are officially out. This is definitely a done deal. He's coming back. No way in hell is Raiola going to lose out on a big agent fee. I doubt Pogba will need much convincing anyway. He's going to be on wages that Juventus can't afford to match.

By the looks of it the only thing really standing in the way of this transfer is Juventus. I hope their board do the right thing and take the money. It's a lot.

Same could be said for a number of transfers though. Shaw, Benzema...
If two or more clubs are prepared to pay the asking price then the player chooses and I have no doubt Pogba would prefer Spain if Real / Barca were that interested.

It's going full muppet on here like 28 days later where people just turn and there's no helping them.

Not bs. Saw some tweets by Juve fans about a podcast on calciomercarto or something like that. Will post the link when I find it.

On Paper? If it happens it puts us maybe top 10 in Europe potentially. I'd go:
1. Barca
2. Madrid
3. Bayern
4. PSG
5. Juventus
6. Man Utd
7. Athleti
8. Man City
9. Chelsea
10. Dormund

I'm worried that a football expert like Robbie Fowler thinks he's overrated.

Anyways I'll continue to be careful but I think this is actually on.

Pogba----?????

Mhik--rooney--Martial

-------zlatan---------

Who next to Pog?
Schneiderlin I hope think he can do well if given a good run in the side he was quality at Southampton and I think he will be Jose's type of player

Top 3 in EPL.
Top 8 in Europe.
Agreed! More importantly the foundation will be set and we can just add one or two pieces to push the squad over the hump. A lot will depend on Rashford and Martial's development as Pogba will be the anchor in the midfield.

Cant wait to see some of this for us next season

He had Wanyama next to him at Southampton. He won't thrive as the most defensive of the midfileders.

We'd be the best in the Premier League and arguably 5th in Europe only on paper. Realistically we should sweep the EL though as we're currently the best team in it by a mile.

Yes, and in that case the player chooses which club he prefers, but based on the only metric available to us, when only one team tables an acceptable offer, surely the team that offers said offer beats any other team also vying for the player.

See, I'm more in agreement with you than others who have said things like top 3 in PL. On paper we have the best LB and GK in the league, one of the best CB, top 2 striker, top attacking box to box mid, top 2 or so winger in Mkhitaryan... a lot of class players there, let's not forget Martial also.
