First off there is absolutely zero hatred in that post. It is one of the most level headed and sensible replies in this thread. But it is annoyng when people that come on here and proclaim because the deal isn't done in the time they want it to be that it means the deal isn't happening. Now if someone came in here and said "I think Pogba will end up staying" that's one thing but the "This is dragging. If the deal was gonna happen it would have happened by now. He isn't coming" posts are just bang out of order and @Raoul is completely within his right to respond to them and tell them that how they came to their conclusion of why this deal won't happen is a fallacy.

Just because the Paul Pogba transfer thread has close to 350 pages and the tweets have slowed down isn't an indication of anything.

Anyone who thinks we're offering £240k net is insane.

Wages in England are never quoted net of tax.

That would be £452.5k per week gross, or just over £23.5m per year.

Not a chance.

Don't fret, mate - there's probably secret stuff going on behind the scenes, false moves and faux gestures; everything's a smokescreen, posturing, bluffing by double agents with hidden agendas. Or something.

When Real Madrid signed Bale it lasted for most of the summer and went quiet for weeks before they eventually announced it. This will be a world record transfer, it will take time to cross the t's and dot the i's and get everything finalised, if indeed it does happen. No news isn't necessarily bad news.

The Morata deal has little impact on their dealings. Morata was bought by Juventus for 20m euros. Real made it obvious that they wanted a buy out clause for 30m which I believe placed the player in a straight jacket in terms of demanding great salary. He's hardly a prolific scorer either although he will have to be replaced.

Juventus big fish in contention are Bonucci and Pogba. Some even say that the former is even more important then the other. TPogba is wanted by United who seem ready to offer 100m for him. Bonucci is wanted by City for around 43m. Arsenal wanted Rugani but they were shown the middle finger quite early.

If Juventus had to choose between selling Bonucci or Pogba then they will surely choose selling the former. Bonucci is older, 43m for a 29 year old defender is crazy and Juve being Juve had already covered their arse with young talent (Rugani) and the experienced head (Benatia).

I strongly believe that if we reach the fee that they want (which I think we did or we're pretty close at it) then Pogba will be one step away from Turin. There's two reasons to that. First of all because Juventus are ruthless. If anyone is interested in some history then they should check how Juve treated the likes of Baggio, Ravanelli and Vialli who were much bigger names then Pogba was. Secondly because Juventus know not to clash swords with Mino. The guy had already trashed them with Ibra and wouldn't mind doing it again. However here's the catch. Pogba will have to come forward and state that he wants to leave. Juventus wouldn't want to risk the fans backlash by offloading both Bonucci (a fans favourite) and Pogba in the same transfer window especially at a time when the Milanese clubs are being both by rich owners who had promised to spend ridiculous amount of money on them. They would do it just the same (hence they have made a move to a big name signing ie Higuain) but they prefer not to. It would be more acceptable for Juventus fans if Pogba is seen as a money grabber cnut who moved to a lesser club because of the ££££ then having Juve being portrayed as the ruthless club who would throw anyone under the bus for the right price. Mino on the other hand will want to milk this to the end. Hence why this 'Ah he can stay at Juventus' BS, while Pogba may genuinely want to move to Real because he wants to work with Zidane and he would want to avoid past problems (I promised not to delve into that in this thread and I will keep my promises). If Real are willing to offer as much as we do then he will move there.

Bonuccii is more important than Pogba. Benatia is future replacement for Barzagli. and Rugani is still not good enough as BBC.

Not fretting at all, mainly for all the things you mention and more. Perhaps a bit of us appearing to move on to other targets might just be the grease this transfer needs.

Kind of curious why it would take more time to cross the t's and dot the i's than a normal transfer for say....30m?
 
Juve is in no rush to announce anything as they probably have a few targets in the transfer market that they would like to complete without having other clubs knowing that they got shitloads of money on their hands. And Pogba is still on vacation so it's no rush from our side either. Still believe this is more or less done.

Naming rights, marketing, amount of instalments, add-ons. God knows, but I imagine there's a shit load of paperwork involved in a deal of this magnitude.

I'm talking about agreeing with Juve here, not the player. Reason being there have already been reports that we have agreed with the player.
 
FYI, i originally got the currencies wrong. I thought @Summit said 13m Euros, he said pounds. As of right now, the original Di Marzio claim was 13m Euro net of taxes.

Pretty sure he was talking about the Juve, but an agreement in principle with the player isn't the end of it, same as an agreement in principle with a morgage isn't final. Still alot of paperwork to be done.

First off just because you believe a post is bang out of order doesn't make it so. If people think it's dragging on then that's fine who cares that's how they feel and it's understandable they feel that way as concrete rumours began a little while ago now.

Looks like the Broncos will sign Von Miller today. 6 years $114 million - $70 million guaranteed. The $70 million should be paid out over 3 years so take that and it is $65727 a DAY or $460k a week. American dollars so slightly less than the numbers thrown around, but lunacy is going on. Sure would be nice to sign Pogba today, would be a day to remember for me!

Who was? The tweet referred to United agreeing 13m Euros. I asked why it was in Euro's and not pounds, considering that is the currency we would be paying him in should he come?

Let's be honest, Juve's budget is usually about thirty quid and a packet of crisps, for which they somehow usually sign at least two top players.

You can produce all the fancy infographics in the world, but the only way they're spending 180m this summer is by selling Pogba. Twice.

Juve showing financial 'muscle', is like watching Danny Devito doing curls.
