A lot of reports say that Madrid are his number one choice. thing is if he signs a 5 or 4+1 year contract he'll jump ship to sunny Spain after 3 years maximum ... Long term I think maybe this is too risky especially considering the fee.
First of all, we won't let him go for cheap to RM so don't worry about the fee. Secondly, anything can happen in three years (transfer bans, etc).
How is it risky? I'd take 3 seasons of Pogba where he's performed so well that Madrid want him, over 3 years without him.

3 years is a long time in football. If we're challenging, I wouldn't worry about Madrid as he might be settled. Obviously he would favor Madrid at this moment in time. It even makes sense considering he's already played in England but the most important thing is to get ourselves in good shape. It's not impossible him signing an extention. In 3 years time Zidane may still be at Madrid, but he might not be the coach. Only time will tell.
