i was trying to read the replies when he deleted it so i did what any reasonable person would do and hit printscreen

I would guess United's target is to have Pogba on board for the City match in China. That would be a marketer's dream, wouldn't it. The biggest player making his debut for the most popular club against their biggest rivals in front of the biggest potential audience in the world.
"Pogba to Man United" and a lot of emojis. Was a tweet by Griezmann's brother, who is a United supporter. Probably just a muppet like the rest of us.

Haha. Varane says no to Mourinho. That's confirmation boys and girls. So bitter.

Don't think Griezmann's brother knows anything, he's probably going by L'Equipe's report.

Theo needs to get off his arse and convince Antoine to do the same next year.

I think Sneijder confirmed that he was in talks with United and he felt at one point that he was going, but after Inter sold Eto'o they had no intention of letting Sneijder so.
I'm sure at the time it was a case of one of them were to go, and Eto'o went first. So the reports of us being interested and being close to signing him were true, to the point where he thought he was going, but they fell through due to Eto'o going.

The reports about Pogba seem to be a lot more concrete and a lot of journo's are putting out the same info. Of course we have the whole Woodward not going on the tour due to transfer business stuff which brings back memories, but i personally think this time it's the real deal
I see. But I still think we were never all that interested in Sneijder and he had his injury issues as well. From what I remember, he also wanted very high wages that made it difficult.

I think a combination of the Sneijder, Vidal and Thiago sagas has caused some of you guys some permanent damage.

Can someone explain to me why we are supposedly paying Raiola 20m for this deal? It's not like he's forcing the transfer by making Juve accept a low bid, we are already paying over the top for Pogba.

It had nothing to do Inter not selling. It came down to his wages + agent fees plus his wife was making noises of not wanting to move to Manchester.
Aaaah ok then, i'm sure i read a report where he said he was close to joining but due to Eto'o going, Inter didn't want to sell him. It was a while ago tho.
Still, it's a bullet dodged tho, with his injury problems and all.

The fact he's deleted that tweet is a great sign... Someone told him to pretty soon after...

He apparently has a 20% sell on value clause for Pogba.

Least we know who the muppet dream next summer will be, Mourinho is an admirer apparently.

Hey, @RDCR07. Is it safe for me to be optimistic now? I'm incredibly tempted but almost too scared to take the plunge.

Wait no I thought Pogba had that deal with Juve. When they sell him he gets 20% of the fee.

It's split between both of them, there's been various reports it's Pogba's/Raiola's or both their fee. Feck knows.

Sooooo the more Juve charge us, the more they have to pay Raiola, unless they get us to pay Raiola instead....
And people wonder why Fergie gave him the boot!

He was LA last week then earlier this week he was in Miami.

I see, in my mind the convo went something like this:

Griezmann: Pogs, where you heading?
Pogba: Griezy, to United.
Griezmann: See you next year.

It's his job. Of course everyone is going to try and make the most they can out of this deal.

Yes, pretty much. That's partly the hold up. Juve now want us to pay on something they agreed to previously.

Anyone else think, like me, that we will get a solid conclusion by tomorrow?
