Everyones got a body clock - you ask it to wake you up at a certain time and you'll wake up round the time. Works without fail. So wouldn't worry about it, just remember to ask to be woken just just before Pogba signs or rather confirmation..![]()

We could brief the papers to sling shit right back at Real Madrid, but we don't, because we're not run by a pathetic, petulant child like Perez. They are taking this challenge of "kings of football" seriously. Shame we haven't got a paper that can counter with a "madrids fax machine is rubbish"
This saga is summing up everything that is wrong with modern football - and you can sense why Fergie began to dislike agents so much.
Unfortunately that's just the way it is, I hope we get the deal done.
Its like a Ferrari being beaten in a race by Toyota Yaris. It wont sound nice

Alli is debatably better than Pogba was at his age, current Pogba is light years ahead of Alli and still has a higher ceiling, Pogba has potential to be a Balon d'Or winner.I'll be happy if we sign Pogba, I think he's a quality player, and has great potential. Most would agree on that, the only question mark is his price.
I'm wondering, as a big question regarding his 'value' is who else we could have got, how would you have felt about Alli instead at half the price? It's easy to make lazy comparisons between them due to them both being tall, rangey, black, young footballers, but I actually think they're very similar as footballers. Both are more about being able to stride beyond an opponent, and odd moments of magic rather than the intricate passing or always available nature of Iniesta or Modric.
So do you think Pogba offers significantly more than Alli? I can help but feel, as pleased as I'll be about Pogba, that we may have been able to tempt Alli and Spurs with a bid of £50-60m for him.

This has officially overtaken the Berbatov thread for the second place. Now we just need approx 6500 post/162 pages to overtake the Vidal thread as the number one. With the way this is dragging out/how long we often take before announcing the deals could we actually do it?
Yeah, I don't get it either. If I had the opportunity to make 20 million off this, I'd be doing everything I can to get it. He doesn't owe anything to anyone. What is "wrong" with this? Why are we villifying the agent here again?
Seems about right given that he's holding 20% of Pogba rights, no?
I thought he started to fade away long ago.Pogba is potentially the face of the club for the next decade. He could be our next captain, our next leader. Rooney will start to fade away in the next year or two leaving the gap for Pogba.
He is one of the most marketable athletes on the planet, one of the best players (will only get better) and he even speaks Mancunian. United have got to sign him as far as I'm concerned.
Manchester United is not a Toyota Yaris. More like a Range Rover.
Maybe if we are haggling, it's because we know no one is gonna swoop in.Why are we still haggling over 10m? I know it's a lot of money, but if we keep haggling Madrid could swoop in at any moment. You know what Perez is like, he's a ticking time bomb when it comes to this kind of stuff.
However I have full confidence in the board of getting this deal done and in Ed Woodward. Just rather get it done sooner to stop the probability of Madrid swooping in.
Does this mean deal done, or what Raiola's cut would be in a completed deal?
No, Juventus owe Raiola AND Pogba 20% of the next transfer.
We did that with SanchesMaybe if we are haggling, it's because we know no one is gonna swoop in.
Ah I see, so basically, no different to yesterday... Hopefully today will change all that. Hopefully. There are other tweets too. The basic gist is we want to pay 110m (euros), which then 20m goes to Raiola, so Juve get 90m. But Juve want us to pay 120m, so they get their 100m figure. I think the tweets are basically saying where we're at currently before the next round of talks.

You're not!
I'm 32 pal. Galaga and Pacman were all I knew!
That must mean the deal is 110m euros then. Which is £92m? I thought they were holding out for £100m?
Most of Europe is on holiday in July, everyone is working part time. Wouldn't be surprised if that's when people are getting in to work!Is there a reason why all the news seems to shoot at around 10pm BST? has been happening past 2 days.
