LMAO.
Okay, yes.

I stopped thinking that money is the problem here. What I do I think is happening is that we have it all agreed with Juve. It's the player holding out for Real Madrid, who won't pay near what we're paying. Now it's a waiting game to see if Juve agree to a lesser deal with Real for Pogba or not. It's not that Pogba wouldn't play for us, but Real Madrid are the clear favored destination for obvious reasons.
No need to be, you couldn't expect less from a Madrid based newspaper.Marca reported it....
.......
...........
I'm secretly scared though...
Credible source or not, can anyone come up with one reason (assuming they match the money on offer) why he wouldn't prefer to play CL football under the current CL champions, managed by a French legend?
He'd have to be daft to be swayed by Zidane. ZZ is not going to be managing Real in two years time.

When this clown started off one if his vids with his wife's vibrator in his hands, I lost interest in what he had to say. He was clearly padding out his shit video.
Utter tosser.
Before you guys say something and i don't know how much truth is in there, but a guy in twitter said Italian and Spanish papers will run that Pogba is joining Madrid story in their tomorrow newspaper exclusive edition.
I agree with the first part about the deal being agreed, but the Madrid angle has been discussed before. If Madrid do come for him he would be second choice, they almost signed Gomes and were ready to give up on this. If that is indeed what the player wants, then Raiola would have flown to Spain, or at least meet with Madrid officials somewhere and try to make it happen for his client.I stopped thinking that money is the problem here. Zidane might play a tiny part in the deal. But it's the significantly better players, the current state of the club, the most anticipated league fixtures in El Clasico with the whole worlds eyes on the stars on show, the club with the biggest history. The list goes on.Credible source or not, can anyone come up with one reason (assuming they match the money on offer) why he wouldn't prefer to play CL football under the current CL champions, managed by a French legend?
Maybe not but he's managing them now and we've already seen that Pogba prefers to focus on the here and now, rather than long-term goals.
No it won't happen like that. He will perform at his highest level regardless. He might eventually move on to them unless we become the hottest team around in the next couple of years, but there's no resemblance between his personality and attitude to Di Maria's.
... but there's no resemblance between his [Pogba's] personality and attitude to Di Maria's.
If he really does favour Real Madrid over you guys then I wish you would stop chasing him - you're better than that. It will just end up being di Maria again if he comes - he actually wants to be somewhere else.
I don't see it either. Although there's usually no rationality behind their transfers, this is one area I don't expect them to strengthen this year.I couldn't see Pogba dislodging Kroos or Modric in the team to be fair.
Now if they were to buy Pogba, i'd be more than happy to take Kroos or Modric off their hands.
And why wouldn't he, there are no promises in football. One injury might end it all.Maybe not but he's managing them now and we've already seen that Pogba prefers to focus on the here and now, rather than long-term goals.
I think it was Di Maria's relationship with LVG which caused the problems. Was too attacking minded to play under LVGThis makes sense to me. Which makes me worry about another Di Maria, even if we do sign the lad. Half-arsed efforts, biding his time for a move to his preferred club.

Most players would. We'd have about 7 players left, most of them English, if they had the choice between Real or United. How do you know this?
At no stage has Pogba raved about MUFC or wanting to join us at any cost.
He has been silent. So, what makes you think that Pogba won't ditch us for Madrid at the earliest opportunity?
No he's a fragile kid from day 1. You just have to look at his first season at Real Madrid and what the fans thought of him.Hopefully you're right but wasn't Di Maria's attitude supposed to be one of the best things about him before we signed him?
You think Pogba is the best midfielder in the world?
I never said he won't. But Real won't be able to afford his buying price on the first couple of years of his contract with us that's for sure. We aren't complete fools. How do you know this?

By this logic you'd say Bale in his last season at Spurs was better than Keane or Viera at the same age. You can't let goals be the deciding factor considering their different roles

If nothing else, I have to admire your relentless optimismAll quiet before the Di Marzio Storm tonight!
I think we're desperate for quality this time around. And Pogba is a bit of a one of kind. He does possess more varied qualities and attributes than any midfielder in the world right now.Jose said he only let Mata go cos he said he didnt want to stay at Chelsea. With that in mind, and what happened last season, does anyone really think Jose will want a player that doesnt want to come? Let alone pay a huge fee for him?
Inching closer again tonight. All quiet before the Di Marzio Storm tonight!

I seriously don't think we'd spend a month or so negotiating with Juve, working out the logistics of a world record deal, arranging a payment plan, sorting agents fees and the sorts without any clear indication that the player wanted to come and play for us.I stopped thinking that money is the problem here. Could you imagine the convo?
United: "Hey Paul, fancy coming back to play for us? We'll make you star of the team and you're guaranteed a whole shit ton of money and a starting place every game"
Pogba: "Yeah sounds awesome mate, i'm well up for that... just gonna let you know tho, i'm gonna have to hold the deal up for a while just incase Real Madrid want me. You good with that?"
United: "That won't be a problem lad, we'll just go ahead and get everything sorted with Juve anyway, you know, just incase the don't bother"
That would be an epic waste of time and effort which could be spent going for our other targets. Why waste time and effort on a player thats apparently waiting on another club when our other targets could be snapped up? It's no shocker that Real are interested. They'd have been interested when we initally asked Pogba if he'd be interested in a return, they'd have already said they can't and won't pay his fee but they'd like for him to wait at Juve so they could get him at a later date. Thats not changed as of this moment from what know
What do you think Raiola is doing right now?
Thing that myths me at present was the quotes floating around last night saying, "matter of hours" is that like 12 or 730.001? lol
He would want to play for us, but that doesn't mean we're his first choice, and seemingly Real weren't in it until very late. It's a simple idea.I seriously don't think we'd spend a month or so negotiating with Juve, working out the logistics of a world record deal, arranging a payment plan, sorting agents fees and the sorts without any clear indication that the player wanted to come and play for us.

Looks like the entirety of the Cafe decided to chill in this thread today.
