Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

What bothers me is the lack of desire on his (Paul's) part to build team chemistry ASAP.

As we all saw this season, a top 4 spot was ONE game away last season. Fortunately missing the top 4 ended up working in the Reds favor.

This season the Reds can't afford to let a game or two slip away while everyone learns to play together. It's new system, with new players in key spots.

I'm pissed at whomever KNOWS this is going down, but are allowing/causing Paul to not be on the team. Two fricken weeks. The dude should have been on the practice field two weeks ago.
He is an athlete who played an enormous amount of football last season. The idea that his holiday to recuperate and recover should be cut short so that he can build chemistry with the team is silly and short-sighted.

Theres a deal in place that no announcement is to be made until this thread hits 1000 pages. I say you all go on strike because of the powers that be using you lot for their gain.

4 days camping in the new forest and I was expecting get record shirt sales etc with pogba the new face of United?

Any known reason for the holdup as I'm not going through 30 pages if can be avoided.

I'm in absolutely no doubt that he's coming, what's bugging me is he's lording it up on twitter teasing people etc when the season starts very soon and so he's not going to be fit to play until bloody mid September at this rate.

Fair enough he's entitled to a holiday, but for the money involved, both fee and wages, you'd think he'd want to be ready to go from the start of the season.

With United fans, he's signed shirts, posed for pics, and answered questions when asked. It's the press and pundits he's trolling with his own Instagram posts

I know you're having a laugh (and boy do we need them at the moment with the way this thing is dragging) but do you think we might actually hit the 1,000 mark before official announcement?

Maybe they dont want it to overshadow Rooney's testimonial? If not then your guess is as good as anyone else's.

Can't tell you the number of times over the last 4 seasons I've thought how perfect of a signing he'd be, and how impossible it would be to get him back. Now that it's actually happening, I'm having trouble fully comprehending how big of a deal this is for our team.

It's quite a leap to get to a lack of desire from where we are right now. Officially he's still a Juventus player, and until the two clubs have come to an agreement for his transfer, that will remain the case. If, internally, the agreement has been made, it's then up to the club to arrange for the player to travel for his medical and to sign his contract. They may have decided that it's in everyone's best interests to allow him to complete his holiday. It wouldn't exactly be the best start to your new job if your new employer told you to cut your vacation short.

Even if he'd signed weeks ago, he'd still be on holiday now.

I'm afraid that I am one of those paranoid people.
So many false dawns.
Every day which goes by, moves the saga in Juve's favour, as we get closer to 31st August.

I've seen many transfers take place, but never seen a transfer where the deal is done, but no announcement. That's the part I find strange.
This. It's very strange. And I really don't buy all the excuses with Rooney's testimonial, stock market, adidas campaign etc.
What's funny is that if you look at the Juventuz forum(I know they're deluded) they actually get more and more open to the idea that he might actually be staying as this is dragging out.

I still think it's going to be done as there are simply too many things pointing in that direction. But I honestly don't believe they are dragging out the announcement on purpose.
There are probably still some details to be fixed.

It's getting a bit antsy in here. I guess this is what happens when you've been burned so many times before.

If it's a done deal let him enjoy his vacation.

Muppets aren't worth to cut short the holiday, a day or two wont make a difference for juve or united.
I agree he should have his holiday. But considering technically our season starts in 6 days, it would have been nice to get him in early so he could play in the Community shield game and also train together and build chemistry with team mates.

He knows a good few of them so it's not like starting afresh. It's not just his team mates, he knows the area too so he would settle relatively quickly. We should have a good enough squad without Pogba, to win the first few games...

Feck his holiday! He should be back to satisfy our muppet dreams. Kidnap the cnut or something. This is doing my nut in.

This is like waiting on a new pair of expensive designer shoes that you want asap. You know they'll come it's just a matter of days.

Mkhitaryan was done long before it announced by the club. We only knew it was done because of Dortmund's saltiness and then it was still about 4/5 days afterwards.

I'd never buy shoes off the internet personally. Too much hassle to return if they don't fit.

Sorry to crap all over your analogy

Can we not have a whip around and send the most articulate and persuasive member of the caf over to America to sort this out, get the deal over the line? i'll chip in a tenner.

Didn't Jose say he wanted things tying up on incoming transfers by the CS? He won't be happy if it drags on.
He wont play in it anyway. It makes no difference. Also he said its good to get everything done before the last two weeks because thats when everyone is busy in the market.
