The deal is done i think. Madrid wouldn't have left it this late with the season only a couple of weeks away. There's not even a sniff of them readying a bid.

I was half tempted to call this Pogba day but in reality are we looking at another 48 hours?

Does anyone know why United have basically cut the media out of any transfer news? Since 2014, nearly all our transfers have been done in secrecy from the English press point of view.

Duncan Castles seems to have insight based on the fact that he is in bed with Mourinhos camp, everyone else is clueless.

Because Ed learned the lesson, the less you open your mouth the better, especially in the transfer market.

I remember during Moyes's summer, everyone and their dog knew everything related to our transfers.

Doesn't seem logical that he'd get to Manchester unseen, with the amount of attention all over the world this transfer is getting. Still expect it to be made official by Monday though.

The legendary Liam Miller managed it.

Helicopter pics is Deffo someone on here trying to get the thread over 1000.

Although both kick boxing videos were filmed in broad daylight. I'm guessing early afternoon so could be possible he travelled.....BUT I cannot believe he could manage to get all the way to England without ANYONE seeing him. I call bull on him being in the chopper
If he flies commercial, there's no way in hell that it's not tweeted a hundred times the second he boards a plane. A good number of people on a plane from NYC to London, Manchester, or anywhere in Europe would recognize him.

But hypothetically if he was flying private and arrived in the early hours, it could easily go unnoticed.

Of course, Juve are headed to London in the next day or two, so even reports of Pogba flying to London wouldn't necessarily confirm anything.

Then Taxx's name must be Trophies.

Get it? Because United x Pogba = Trophies? Yeah I'll get my coat.

Wouldn't it be United + Pogba = Trophies?

If Pogba and United multiplied together we have Old Trafford shaped football babies...

I like to think that the act of sexual intercourse can be described as multiplication, not addition. It just sounds right you know?

Still a mind boggling signing that one.
Not to derail this thread, he looked absolutely fantastic in Europe (in particular) the year before we bought him. Clearly an aberration, but the reasons behind the signing were sound. Honestly.

Can't wait to see Poggy's beaming smile once he's back where he always wanted to be.

Since when did helicopters do transatlantic flights? Or is he finished his holiday?

So Sky say he's flying to Manchester on Saturday (unveiled Monday), Telegraph saying deal will be closed today. Hmm, Who to believe?

Sky have been shite for a long time, but it does make more sense for it to be then.

Luckily the both have the same outcome... that he'll soon be a United player :)

You know we've been through the mud when we are hardly even bothering to take notice of reports like this now.

Neither. I'm sure it'll happen soon but i doubt we'll hear anything today or even over the weekend.

Its been the story for a while with the media. They take a guess over transfers and if its right they have great sources, and if not they arent held accountable. Ah to be a journo...

It's obvious what's gonna happen we'll win come Sunday and when we're about to lift the shield Pogba will walk out dander up the stairs with the boys and start dabing while wazza lifts it.....

Right...so its today?
No longer are journalists giving 48 hour time tables.

Even the likes of Telegraph appear to no longer be reliable.
BBC are the only website which I 100% trust, when it comes to transfers.

Pogba will take a private jet to Manchester and tell the press he is here to spend a couple of days With friends before going back to Turin

Telegraph is up there as one of the best, right? Or what newspapers are the most trustworthy? Guardian, Times?

Yeah, cannot stand the twat for going on holiday. Hate all these fans who demand he is signed right now. Sign him now or forget it!
Yeah. Nothing better than a player enjoying his vacation and Twitter control so much, that he doesn't care about being pre-season. Next year, let's just let all of our players return about one-two weeks before the season. This way, everybody gets too have fun and get back in time for a trip to Wings.
