David Moyes | West Ham in talks with him for managerial job

I'm struggling to understand how Moyes and Sunderland can think it's a good idea to give Chelsea treble the money they paid for a player who hardly featured for them at all last season. I know they have a habit of getting good money for the players they sell but seriously, they paid under £3m for Djilibodji and have just sold him for £8m when he did literally nothing for them last season. Very random first signing by Moyes, he had better get some more transfers done for them quickly or they will probably be in trouble next season.
I think you've answered your own question.

At first i was Like, which buffoon payed 8 million for bloody papy :wenger::wenger::wenger::wenger: then i remembered who the manager was, then it was more "as you were" mentality from me

Moyes must have been watching Djilobodji for a while to make a move this quickly. As we know Dave likes to scout players for a year or two before buying them.

Djilobodji is like Moyes; unfairly treated. Both belong at the highest level.

Djilobodji supposedly impressed during his Werder Bremen loan and this year the market is kind of crazy so actually it makes sense in my opinion.
If he pushes on they will have good defender who didn't cost much.

I saw he scored an important goal on the last game of the season to help them avoid relegation but wasn't sure how he did there overall, if he impressed though then thats more understandable, with the market the way it is, it doesn't exactly take much for a players value to bump up by a few million.

The fact Djilibodji didn't even get any real premier league experience last season makes it more surprising Moyes made him his first signing, he could certainly be a good buy for them though, I just don't see how his value could have trebled in the last year at all. Will be interesting to see who else Moyes brings in to help them, I'm sure he will want to take some of our affordable players who aren't set to play much under Mourinho.

I think he will do great at Sunderland, he is a coach I really liked, he just wasn't ready and never will be ready to coach a club like United. It is not his fault it didn't work out, it was the fault from the people who hired him in the first place. If they decide to hire me, Chances are things will go boom aswell but hell if they ask me, I'll sign with both hands and try me utbest whilst at it but they should never ask me, they should never have asked Moyes either. But at a club like Sunderland he can be good I think.

So are you saying Moyes is no better a football manager than you are? Sounds like it, suggesting you could be earning £Ms as a manager in the PL!

I know some want to sell him Fellaini and Januzaj, but even if you don't like/want that pair, why the feck would we want to help Moyes the way he won't shut his mouth about United?

I see Sebastian Larsson is out injured for 6 months. Do you guys think that Perreira would get enough playing time there that a cheeky loan offer could be viable? Perhaps with some clauses about playing time etc.

The Januzaj loan is smart business.

Say what you want but this is Moysey's playground. He can take relegation fodder and fix them in the top 10 with quite some ease.

I'd hope that because we have done him a favour, he can try and stop tarnishing our name in the media.

He should just avoid commenting on us, unless absolutely necessary.
Not sure that'll happen tbh but you're right. The sooner he flicks his Manchester United chip off his shoulder the better off he'll be.

He was manager at Preston North End before. Almost took them higher two levels of English football. You obviously haven't followed his career.

I can't stand the man and have never been able to stand him, I have no interest in his career beyond laughing at his inevitable failure.

Djilobodji to Sunderland.... An absolute joke. The lad was average at Nantes and they were battling to survive in L1 as they usually finish between 10 and 15.

When you see that Moyes took Mc Nair and Djilobodji together, I just hope to see them playing against Ibra Martial and Mkhitaryan.

Moyes just show by this move that he knows nothing about transfers

We shall see. He took Sociedad from top half to near relegation.

He really needs to move on for his sake.

Hes not the first manager to succeed a great long term manager at United and fail miserably. He should be grateful. At least he got to keep his hair.

I think that Moyes is using the old Roy Keane trick ie play on United's guilt feelings to nail some shrewd deals from us. We'll soon hear how mean United were when they took his United mouse mat away only to be followed by a 5m bid from Sunderland for Fellaini

Gordon Ramsay's even scruffier cousin cost them two points. What a totally pointless and spineless manager.

You play a side that thrives with possession and putting the opponent under pressure, take of your striker and invite more pressure, real clever there Moyesy.

Defoe for McNair is the epitome of the Moyes pussy-ass substitution.

Everyone knew it would backfire the minute it happened.
