The OP of that thread is that he is not good enough. Most people seemed to say the same. Keep him in the hope he can develop. He didn't and probably regressed. So moved on.
Seems you must have glanced over quite a few posts then mate below is only the first 10 or so replies, range of opinions but nothing too negative most seemed to rate him. If you read on it's largely the same. By the way i actually think we should have sold him also, the mistake we made was not buying someone good to replace him.
I think he's decent enough but has too many brain farts to be considered top class. Good squad player,
He's going to mature into a genuinely great player over the next 3 years
I like him
Squad player at the very most, we shouldn't be relying on him to be the cornerstone of our defence in the next few years.
Great player is a stretch, probably more like a very good one.
He's brilliant. Our best defender currently IMO
Still think he's our best defender at the moment, though.
He's great on the ball, which is something most of our other CB's sorely lack. He really does have an ability to collapse at moments though.
Probably the most underrated player we currently have. He has been by far our best defensive player this season
There's also this thread where people praise Rojo. The fact is he was actually very good in his first season. But that also seems to be forgotten

Effectively we were right to move him on.
People probably have trouble remembering it because it didn't really happen mate. He had a few very good performances early on, City away i was impressed and then his form dipped and he started getting injured and hasn't really got back into the side since. It's been nearly 2 years since then and he's been pretty bad for the most part.
