We all saw that v evertonYou doubters do realise that Mourinho frequently brings Fellaini on in the last few minutes of minutes, and regularly rotates him with other midfielders? The manager clearly values him as a player.

As well as the next match in which Mourinho dedicated the win to Fellaini. We all saw that v everton
To be fair, I do sometimes wonder if I wrongly judge him as a footballer. Who am I to argue of his qualities when he has managed to play over 100 games under Moyes, LvG and Mourinho? You doubters do realise that Mourinho frequently brings Fellaini on in the last few minutes of minutes, and regularly rotates him with other midfielders? Has he really benefited us in terms of results after coming on as a sub, besides last night? I think Mourinho has been wrong in his approach in defending small leads by going for a defensive option. As well as the next match in which Mourinho dedicated the win to Fellaini.
Granted, Fellaini made a massive mistake against Everton. It happens. Even De Gea made some huge mistakes this season against Chelsea and West Ham. Mourinho can see past it because he knows that both players still offer a lot besides.
Fellaini is Mourinho's go-to-man to add aerial prowess at the back. It's something the manager's prioritised for years and it's not going to change. There are few better at it than Fellaini.

Could Mourinho be giving playing time as a carrot to make him sign a new contract?
The years option was clubs to extend. I don't think Fellaini had a say.Doubt it we just took up the option on his contract. He didn't need to sign anything.
Oh yes, should be amazing. I expect a few RAWK-level individual meltdowns once the arguments break out. This thread's gonna be fun
Came here looking for this and I wasn't disappointed.Any minute now...
'She cannae take the strain captain'

Basically just that he's different than any player out there. Simply by playing him you can change your approach quite a bit.I think he is gash.. But who am I. Three managers have kept faith in him and stuck with him even if he is shit.. There must be something there.
We've always had a donkey in the team. They usually end up being cult heroes towards the end.FFS I guess every team needs a donkey.
We did the same with Berbatov and Evra before selling them. Not saying i'm sure we will sell him but the club are just protecting themselves.
If this just protects us in terms of getting some money back for him when we get rid in the Summer then it's smart.
Didn't we give Nani a new contract to keep his value up then had to end up loaning him out while also paying most of his wages? At least a 12 month extension can't backfire that badly. He might be confident after the hull goal, and now this, could def be worth money for a goal Sunday..
Just tells me he will be gone in the summer. Scored some important goals for us.
Would actually be good to see him go back to Everton. Scheiderlin, Fellaini and Barkley would form a good midfield.
Amazes me how so many people give him a hard time. Can't really blame him for saying 'yes' to a move to one of the biggest clubs in the world.
