Premier League Matchweek 22 (Jan 21-22)

Woke up at 1-0 on about 85. Rechecked the phone thinking, I just wonder...it's been a funny week.

1-1 Yes! 3mins into injury time too...but 6mins given.
6mins..1-1
7mins 1-1
8mins 1-1, start to celebrate, leave the room

one last check of phone 2-1

rucks sake!! Even Sanchez as cap in the fantasy footy didn't for a second lift the annoyance.

Hull actually playing quite well in the circumstances - Marco Silva already having an effect?

Liverpool and Arsenal will define the rest of the season (against Chelsea)

Just finished watching Arse. Great refereeing!

Bottled it again, eh.

I assume you mean the linesman by which case yes, he bottled giving the correct decision which was to rule Kos offside before the foul is committed. Your luck will run out eventually.

That was the one I was thinking of. What was it, 40-something?

82 mate...

Imagine if Costa got sent off in the first few minutes of the 2nd half

47' - Costa red
52' - Costa goal

When we played Sunderland last year, we went 1-0 up in the 49th minute and 2-0 up in the 46th minute.

It's admirable how ten-man Arsenal just don't give up and get the result that they deserved. The harder we work, the luckier we seem to get.

See, that's one of those games you'll remember forever kinda fondly (in a strange way). If you won that game by the odd goal but only had 30 crosses, you'd have forgotten it a month later.
I don't know about fondly, but I definitely think that the humour is added to by the fact that we didn't win. If we'd won, the tactic would have been somewhat vindicated, in a way.

Actually, the funniest thing is that we went 2-1 up and kept crossing the ball...and then straight from kick off after 2-2...we cross the ball

To be fair it's consistent with the reasoning behind the ibrahimovic disallowed goal against Middlesbrough.
I don't think anyone is suggesting a foot to the head isn't dangerous, the argument is that at the time of the cross he was clearly offside, before moving in behind the defender and onto the ball. The header wouldn't have scored, so not sure what the defender was thinking.
