How many winning goals or goals in games that were won by just one go has he scored in the last year or so? Anyone got some stats for this?

wow, those are incredible penalty stats - 56 penos scored in 8 seasons in La liga alone.

Any idea of how many he has missed as well?

9 pens in La Liga (6 saved by the GK, 2 were off target & 1 hit the woodwork).

Class finish, and a very nice assist for the first goal. I only saw brief highlights but he looked rather good for someone who I understand is beyond finished ;)

It was a good all-round performance. Everyone seems desperate to write him off, but his general play was good.. he was trying to involve his team mates, good running off the ball.. he was even taking players on but doing it smartly. Only thing slightly off was the passing but the intention was there to split the defence. I enjoyed it.

He was excellent yesterday. His passing was a bit off somwtimes but he tried and that assist was very good. Made the right decisions and didn't try to do more than he is capable of. Hopefully he keeps it up.

One goal, one assist.

His general play was better than usual for the season, but i wouldn't call it good, either. Still, when you directly contribute to two goals, you're having a good game, there's no disputing that

Reading reports that he was booed by Madrid fans, during the last game?

It's happened several times over the years. Means nothing
I know. Incredible isn't it? Imagine a player coming here, scoring nearly 400 goals in less than 400 games, getting jeered? They would be run out of town.

Heh, different culture. In this specific case, yours is better. Mind, some of those times were kind of understandable in the moment. Football fans can be frustrated too

Is it something to do with Madrid fans specifically though? I mean they have a history of booing their best players. I can't imagine Messi ever being booed even if he is subpar. Or is it Ronaldo's behaviour/attitude?

And the man just won Ballon d'Or also.

The camp nou has booed their shares of stars. Cruyff, Ronaldinho, i think even Xavi was booed at one point. Messi was never jeered because he never gave them reason to. It's a cultural thing with the spanish superclubs. Real Madrid have it worse because it's the biggest club around, with the most insanely exigent/entitled fanbase in the world. What you did yersterday means little for the bernabeu, it's what you are doing now that matters...

Mind, cristiano was booed for the first time when he choose to shoot(and miss) in a 2 vs gk situation, where an easy pass to bale would have given him a hat trick

The other times, it's because he'd been playing like shit for a while and the whole team wasn't doing well, which had people on edge

I know Spanish fans can be brutal, but even compared to other stars you must admit he gets far more abuse.

Compared to other real madrid stars? Not really. Compared to other stars in Spain? Maybe...it's happened like 4 or 5 times though, not like it happens every two games

And keep in mind it's always a small group of people doing it, not the entire stadium

Of all the Madrid legends someone got worse treatment?

Plenty. You don't even have to look too far back. Iker

While I can't speak for other clubs I'm leaning to believe it's something specific with Madrid fans. The're are a lot of fans all over Spain but the ones who go the stadium on regular basis are one of the most uptight type of person you can imagine. If tickets were more accessible I'm sure the environment would be different.

I also think it's detrimental to display your bitterness in such fashion when the game has just begun, and as shit as they could be I don't think that's going to improve anything that's going in the field; that just increases the pressure. If any I would try to hold the booing and whistles at the end after a shit performance but while the game is still going the best thing would be to encourage the players and have hope instead of being bitter and shitting on everyone's mother the full match lol.

To me the worst in the team has been Danilo, Benzema attitude annoys me because it has been going for a long time but stil whenever I see them on the field I want them to freaking do well. Cristiano has more credit than most players with all he has done over the years but while I think it's bad for the fans to booing players during the match it's just as bad from the players trying to provoke and picking fights with their own fans so he, and any other professional player should restrain from doing that; although in Ronaldo's case it's very extreme the amount of hate he has to cope with whenever he goes.

Keep in mind the majority of the people at the bernabeu are club members. People who pay a membership quota every year. Cristiano is literally an employee of theirs

Good point.

Cristiano he must sort of think for all the success and records I have achieve with this club I still can't please these people. So he simply vents his fury back at them because for him nothing seems to be good enough.

Nah, it's heat of the moment stuff. Cristiano is beloved by madrid fans

The goal was good but he didn't lose a yard like people keep saying.....he lost 2 or 3 yards.

He has lost a yard but to be fair to him every through ball he received bar the goal and one in the 2nd half where he forced the keeper into a save were massively overhit or just bad passes in general.

Watching him nowadays is kinda sad. 3 years ago he skins the CB alive in that situation. Now...he just looks old

Still a rather brilliant player off the ball in the last 20 yards(especially his movement inside the box), and one of the best crossers of the ball around, with both feet
