How can every single one of our strikers be injured? This is outrageous! What is the medical department doing???

How is it possible that all of our strikers are injured at the same time?? The club should give us an explanation of some sort. When is Jose's press conference?

Our medical team needs to be accountable and the club ought to give the fans an explanation as to how this injury shambles happened. To have four strikers out all of a sudden is outrageous. We should be doing a better job in preventing injuries and treating them FFS. What is the story with Rooney for example?

Phil Jones injured him in training.

The medical team should have Jones quarantined

We can't blame them. Zlatan is banned, Rashford is ill, Rooney is just erm, self inflicted injury, Martial is the only one injured technically.

That's utter and complete bollocks, outrageous really, with our kind of fixture schedule - wtf was Jones thinking? Of all the things to do, he injured our own player? A total joke. He should be disciplined if he did anything reckless FFS. I can't imagine the club are very pleased with him for doing that??

He's increased our odds of winning to be honest.

I suspect it probably wasn't intentional. Chill.

What on earth happened to Rashford? What manner of illness has afflicted him? With the kind of modern facilities and medical team that United have got, surely some precautions could have been taken against illness? Diet? Nutrition? Vaccinations? Boosting their immune systems? I can't accept this shit, a club like United needs to do better. We don't see the Chelsea players falling ill or injuring each other do we? This is amateur bullshit at its worst! If we lose, this striker crap will surely be a major reason.

Things like this happen, how are they accountable, let's just blame someone!

Intentional or not, he should be more careful in training especially at a time when we can't afford injuries!! Look at our fixture list! This kind of amateur bullshit is a total joke and might well cost us the game tonight. I can't believe we haven't prepared in a more professional way.

Perhaps we should invest in a flu catcher and make the players train in suits made of cotton candy?

This is the business end of the season and so much is at stake! And when the stakes are high, the preparation has to go smoothly so that we have the highest possible chance of success as a club. This kind of rubbish is just self-sabotaging and shooting ourselves in the foot!

You're right! It's an absolute outrage!!

Thats going to make Woodward and Mourinho sit up alright.

You have no idea how this injury came about, Jones may have slipped into him, Rooney may have dived in and came off worse. Jones was definitely a clumsy bastard

Getting an injury in training isn't a sign of not being professional, don't understand your points at all.

I'd go without a dedicated striker and if that isn't working chuck Fellaini on and go direct.

Of course not, the players are big lads and professional athletes. But this kind of nonsense simply isn't up to scratch for a club with aspirations to win three trophies this season. It's not good enough. If this costs us the FA cup it would be a joke, a case of self sabotage really.

jesus calm down:lol: Rooney is no loss, I'd rather play Young or Jesse Lingard up top, this kind of game and against three central players and Kante is exactly the game in which he would look like total shambles, Rooney is no loss even in this situation

A little over the top, yes, but Jones has history here. Including with that very same player.

Well that just makes it even more unacceptable! What manner of shit led to this sorry state of affairs? The club should offer and explanation.

How is it there fault ?, injuries are part and parcel of football and training with Phil Jones
Zlatan is banned , Rashford is ill , Rooney see comment about Jones, there is no need for them to do anything other than their job.
if you know of anyway to prevent injuries during training and games, I would say tell the footballing world you will make a shed load of money.

I know Rooney is not the player he once was. But he is still United's record goal scorer and the club captain. I don't understand how you think that playing Young or Lingard upfront (neither is a proven striker) would be better than someone with Rooney's experience playing in the position.

Are you for real ? Are you saying that the United medical team should be able to prevent illness !!!!

Unfortunately I don't have a solution but a club like Manchester United has excellent doctors, physios and nutritionists, that's what they're paid to do, yet they don't have any solutions either??

As for Jones, if he is the issue then he should be docked 3 weeks wages and banished to train with the reserves for a month. The club needs to give us an explanation of what really happened, and to what extent Jones behaved recklessly. If he did he might just have cost us a trophy.

Ok so how come the Chelsea players aren't falling ill? Why aren't they injuring each other? Why is Costa not going to miss this game as a result of being injured by John Terry?

Unbelievable that a bunch of events off the field might cause us to lose out on a trophy, and deny the club (and Mourinho personally) a chance at revenge. If we lose this now, the off field factors need to be looked at thoroughly and a proper review conducted. We expect our support staff to give the club every possible chance of winning games, not costing them games, especially during the business end of the season.

I really think you need to chill out , players get ill , players get injured , thats life.

A club with the resources and facilities of Man Utd should really expect more. These guys need to do every single thing possible to help the team win games, sparing no detail. If indeed Jones injured Rooney due to reckless actions on his part, the club needs to seriously look at how that was allowed to happen.

Hazard had a slight hamstring issue earlier in the year, for a few days. I can only assume that the medical team were rightly sent to a gulag by Roman to dwell on the error of their ways.

Wild guess, but possibly because football is a contact sport and they were training?

Indeed. I mean, come on, historically players only get injured in games. Having a competitive atmosphere in training can’t help the players in any way. José should bring his whole backroom staff to the next presser to explain themselves to the fans.

We should definitely bring in non-contact training. Maybe even without running to protect those hamstrings and I hope we've started legal action against Phil Jones.

If we are going to lose then it should be because of performances of those on the pitch. Not off it. Have they done every single thing possible to give the team the best chance of winning? That's all I'm asking and I think the answer is no.

Have you ever actually played football at any level?
Injuries happen, it is a contact sport.
I think you are going way over the top with trying to blame somebody , Jones is a physical player we have always known that.
Where does the reckless come in to it, nobody know how the injury happened.

The last few pages have been extremely amusing and it's all down to one poster :D
