Stats speak for themselves. Herrera matches up defensively, offers more going forward. Kante has the luxury of playing in a team proficient in scoring goals.

People are laughing but if we had to have a player sent off, Herrera would be my last choice. He does so much for us. Which was the point of this thread in the first place.

Look, Kante is great, but a spade's a spade. He did nothing in that first half and on occasions lost the ball in the middle of the pitch.
He's one of the best in the world in his position right now, he deserves the plaudits, find it strange why some people can't seem to accept that.
because he's a defensive first player and for a lot of people you have to be attacking to be worthy of praise
It didn't need this game to clarify that kante and Herrera are miles apart. Kante is probably the best defensive minded midfielder in the world where as Herrera is just a cog in well drilled in a system which allows him to rack up good defensive numbers. He could easily be upgraded in my opinion.
Not for me he isn't, he's good defensively but he's not a good enough footballer to be one of the best.
