Paxman is basically trying to grill him with all the Telegraph and Daily Mail hubris rather than any actual policies.

Why the feck isn't Paxman asking questions like 'how the hell do you fund nationalisation?' etc...
Pretty annoying how there haven't been any type of the questions. Asking him about the IRA in the 1970s, the Falklands now Bin Laden.

Or what about the £11bn blackhole in your costings as highlighted by the IFS? Seemed more an attack on his character over policy.

May is going to be a car crash.

I remember when Paxman found out and cried over his ancestor working in poverty in my home town (Bradford)

Refreshing honesty, regardless of what you feel about his beliefs

That went better than expected.

Well at least we cleared up the reasons why Corbyn said anything about everything in the last 30 years.

Would have been a lot harder on Corbyn if the last 5 minutes were how the whole interview went instead of that bollocks about the Queen.

What an utterly pointless interview. Pointless questions and far to much interrupting from Paxman to get any sort of decent answer anyway. Paxman's an arse.

Didn't seem to be anything on the policies in the manifesto, just a character assassination going over stuff Corbyn said in the past.

Paxman reminds me of the bosses in Golden Axe, laughing in the background until the minions get beaten, then they stop laughing and get the sledgehammers ready for our hero.

What a wonderfully aged reference.

Paxman is a right wing cnut. Shit interview but it was a hit job and probably achieved their purpose

Would be nice, but it seems that Paxman wanted to focus on judgement/character. Corbyn was pretty shifty throughout, with the questions on benefits and terrorism standing out for the wrong reasons.

May has to look noticeably better though, given her comparably lower starting point.

Corbyn has had a good night.

Paxman has made a fool of himself, completely forgetting the purpose of his role. Not one question in that dialogue related to how Corbyn may or may not effectively lead the country.

What a fecking waste of time.

Paxman asking about the Falklands War. Absolutely pointless and irrelevant. He's bonkers.

Why? Corbyn wouldn't defend them in the event of a second invasion, nor would he rule out talks with Argentina on sovereignty.

She's been told to bore us in to submission, hasn't she?

I bet Cameron goes for the social care issue though.

As an aside, would thoroughly recommend an owl flying experience day or afternoon- barn owls are awesome and silent in flight!
