Might have a few quid on that!

feck off May you spineless cnut.

She has been directly lobbying EU leaders to renegotiate on behalf of trump, that is why merkel included us when she said US admin can not be relied on.

Although he is far more polite than I, corbyn has basically already told trump to feck off, they even hinted they would cancel his visit.

This won't play well for may either.

Tim Farron wins the worst interview of the election award. Abbott will be thrilled.

I'm glad our strong and stable leadership is speaking out against that flapping great cnut Trump and his attempts to destroy the future of the world.

The Telegraph have put out an article suggesting Trump is right, it's all just burocracy and a stealth tax.

Basically they've second guessed people holding it against May and are downplaying the dangers of Climate Change. I hope the Barclay Brothers slip out their helicopters and snap their necks. Absolute cnuts.

Nature waits for no one. Absolutely disgraceful to ignore its wrath but the two old fools in charge of the special relationship don't need to worry about it. They'll probably won't live to feel the consequences.

Theresa May is a fecking disgrace. She calls for an election and then doesn't even have the decency to face the country in televised debates. Her only public appearances are with 20-30 stage managed factory workers in factories. Cringey.

If the Tories win, they'll get rid of her as soon as possible.

You missed the Sky News Q&A i'm assuming.

Seriously who votes for these cnuts.

No wonder they're mostly silent. You just wouldn't admit to it would you.

Voted for them in 2005 and 2010, by which point the Labour regime had stored up many grievances among the electorate. Might do so next week, might not, i'm mulling idealism vs practicalities.

When did the UK withdraw from the Paris Agreement?

Because we'd likely end up with JC as Prime Minster and Nicola Sturgeon as deputy as part of the deal.

The country voted for Brexit which JC would have to deliver and Sturgeon would drag her heels at every turn, then, once it's all over and she doesn't get what she wants will call for a second Indyref for Scotland, leading to more economic uncertainty

I'm genuinely unsure as to whether May can function as PM. I don't mean as in, "I don't like her," I mean, as in, she genuinely falls apart when someone even looks in her direction. Even if they're within her own party, and agree with her on everything. I'm genuinely baffled as to how she'll even remotely negotiate a deal on Brexit.

Doubt it would be a formal coalition, more something along the lines of confidence and supply to get budgets and key legislation through. But Sturgeon would almost certainly demand a second independence referendum as the price. Though should be said again, even on those very optimistic looking YouGov figures, they'd barely be able to scrape enough votes together to get a majority of one or two with about three other parties.

Kind of unsure how to vote? SNP or Labour? Could be close in my area. Think I might have to decide on local issues in the end. Probably go SNP but could switch. Potentially. Maybe.

Whoa this is a big deal! I did not think you'd be tempted back so soon. Your MP been underwhelming?

No, I actually quite like him. Which is why I'll probably still vote SNP. But I want Labour to win this election, in a general sense. I'm about 70-30 SNP right now.

You seem like a good'n. A red.

Either way, I detest May and I'm desperate to see her out of office and replaced by someone who has some semblance of a spine.

But, naturally, Scottish Labour have lacked a spine, and the SNP are generally solid as a whole. But Corbyn is running a very solid campaign. Might email the main two candidates in my area (we might just be the least Tory area in the UK) and see what they say about some major local issues. As I say, about 70/30 SNP, will see if that changes at all.

It seems at last that the plebs have begun to treat Madam May with the same contempt that she has always had for them.

Completely agree with this. This isn't my usual concern like it would be for an Erdoğan, who can function as a leader, albeit one you hate. I'm actually concerned about how weak she appears.

I even said this in the wake of Brexit. You can create a list of numerous hypothetical situations in your mind that result in a post-EU utopia, but it doesn't really mean shit if you haven't got the correct leader striving for the "best possible deal" on your behalf. Many seem to have overlooked that not-so-minor detail.

Apparently Trump phoned her to discuss the Accord situation, and she expressed her 'disappointment'...presumably by putting on a funny voice via a third party.

There's no condemnation on any of the official Twitter accounts (May's, Conservatives, No 10's, or Greg Clark who was the minister vaguely overseeing the climate change brief after May disbanded the department of energy and climate change).

A statement to the press saying she expressed disappointment is pathetic

Do it and switch, I know I did. Probably won't make a difference in my constituency but my area once was entirely Labour so anything's possible.

See now what is really winding me up the most is the sheer stupidity of alienating the people you are going to be negotiating with and are desperate for good relations with while simultaneously jumping into bed with the one antagonising them and making clear that he has no interest in doing trade deals that are anything other than heavily one sided and beneficial to his own country.

This is the main reason I have absolutely zero faith in her getting a good deal.

I think there's a reasonable argument to be made that Corbyn is in a better position to negotiate a favorable brexit deal because of Labours continued interaction and cooperation with other social-democratic parties around Europe. The Tories gave up their alliances with the other conservative parties years ago...

If the media wasn't so up their own arses, Labour would have won this election with a possible majority. Unbelievable that they have managed to convince the poor to vote for food banks, NHS cuts, Grammer schools, low corporation tax, a dangerous hard brexit, and an incredibly weak leader in Theresa May. That the media has achieved this shows who really runs this country.

Its always pitched as a necessity to prevent the chaos of Labour. People will vote for anything if you can pitch crisis well enough.

Thats what the two party system is really Labour shouting about the crisis of underfunding and Tories security crisis (including mainly financial).
