Liverpool are holding a press conference informing the media about their intention of tapping the player up
Sanches has a lot of good attributes, but my problem is that most of them are physical. If you look at it purely from a technical perspective, Sanches is below average for a midfielder. However, if the reports are correct and Mourinho wanted Bakayoko, then bringing in Sanches wouldn't be the worst thing, as there are similarities between the two players. I guess height can also play a factor in this with Sanches standing at around 5ft9.Okay, guess that's the end of the line for Sanches then. If Jose feels Pereira is ready for first team football, I'd much rather he was given a chance instead.
He signed for Bayern for €35m + add-ons, it's hardly a massive profit they'd be making on him. In the current market you'v got players like Drinkwater being touted around for £50m, when you consider it, it's not actually 'that bad'.
I'd take Sanches at £45m rather than Dier at £60m. Then that begs the question, does Jose see Andreas Pereira as a DM where he played against Galaxy over the weekend, or was that just a one off to get him on the pitch in the pre season? Both could provide cover / develop under Carrick this year since we seem only to be in for Dier currently.
Would love to see Pereria develop under Carrick, that's the ideal scenario. Would prefer Dier over Sanches though, as said previously, I think having a British contingent/spine is good for the team.I'd take Sanches at £45m rather than Dier at £60m. Didn't want to accept 70M from us but take 61M from Milan, well done Perez!
Wonder if @carvajal still believes £79M was fair after now selling him for 60M.
His work rate was in question "at the time" it's a strong point of his game now.Yep, the guy who got displaced by freckin Kevin Großkreutz due to work-rate by Jürgen Klopp at the time..
When did you started watching football?I know Milan has a big booster behind it now explaining the splash of cash, but can someone explain the appeal to playing there vs in England or Spain? Lesser competition overall, stadiums that look small or often make the Emptihad look full.. Etc
Other than living in Italy of course, which I'm sure can be very pleasant with the amount of cash they ll make.
Seriously, £75m for Keita?
Now granted i havent seen a lot of him, but as if hes worth it. That money would get you better. Surely?
I don't know if the Sun is banned here, but Warren Haughton is as far as I remember a trusted journalist.

There, fixed it for you.Aguero to Chelsea, Sanchez to City, Costa to Atletico, Greizman to United?
If Damian leaves and we don't sign a full back, we're going to regret that. Valencia and Shaw are certain to get injuries. Blind is worse at football than my dead great gramdma
Christ, Perisic should be resigned to the old folks home. I'm 31, I had better start making arrangements for when I'm gone and hand in the retirement papers.
Robben was 31 at the last world cup and seemed quicker than his supposed peak years. He had more than his fair share of injuries aswell.I never said Perisic will retire because of his age. I said he can't play every minute of every game cause he will be tired compared to some young winger like Dembele or Lemar, Perisic could also have some injuries. Perisic's pace will go down after he crosses 30.
It's a little disconcerting when people are saying players who are the same age as me are getting too old.
I don't feel all that bad but now I'm worrying that I'm in physically fecked and just haven't noticed yet.

I'm 40. I'm amazed I managed to get to work today, because reading this forum, I should have had a stroke after walking 5 yards. It's a little disconcerting when people are saying players who are the same age as me are getting too old.

7 years ago. It's getting ridiculous now.His work rate was in question "at the time" it's a strong point of his game now.
