I've seen tweets of them wanting Aguero and others saying Sterling. If Arsenal didn't want to sell so close to the window, they could have either have sold him a month ago, or not sell him at all. The fact that they've decided to sell this late in the window is poor management, if they haven't got a replacement ready and shouldn't change the market value of Sterling.I thought they wanted Aguero but City said no? Of course City would prefer straight cash but Arsenal wouldn't accept that so close to deadline when it doesn't look like they're going to be able to bring in a replacement due to the Lemar stuff collapsing.
