Pep realised the Bravo situation wasn’t one to ignore and took action - Ederson looks fantastic, will save them a few points this year too.
Not sure how true this is, but I just read that in 9 league games City have conceded just 14 shots on target this season. If so, I think that’s partly our defence but also partly down to how quickly Ederson comes off his line for any ball remotely in behind the back 4.
That so? Then maybe Pep has found himself a new Neuer, who was perfect for his idea of football. Not sure how true this is, but I just read that in 9 league games City have conceded just 14 shots on target this season. Interesting take on it. I guess its different from my view on things because I've had the opposite and being a City fan since 85. So I'm used of winning sweet feck all and losing a lot, so maybe look at things with less expectation (part of me still expects us to "City" this start up). I have kind of a if you can't laugh at yourself attitude to football because believe me as far as you guys have fallen, you've never had to turn off the tv after 82 minutes vs Gillingham in league One bad.
Of course financial doping has benefited us hugely, honestly I can only now start to realise how United fans looked at the game. When we won our first trophy (FA Cup) and first league I went mental. Now I find winning the league Cup underwhelming and pointless so I guess a touch of that is creeping in to myself too. I don't think any team in England can dominate like you did anymore. I have a feeling the titles will be shared between 3 and maybe the odd Spurs trophy here and there (if they continue on their upward trajectory).
Good and honest post mate. Fair play.

Pep furious with the football: "It's not acceptable. That ball is not a serious ball for a professional game."]
Best manager out there right now, by far.
Still a total fraud. The decision to take that job says it all
I really hope the next Liverpool - City game will be played with a lot of wind and an unserious ball.
He needs $$ mucho dinero $$ just like our own managerWhat does it say?
Don't think he's even the best in the league. Pochettino is.
Which part of Pochettinos career as a manager puts him even remotely in the discussion for best manager in the league? Mourinho v Pep I understand, serial winners, but Poch? Madness. He’s kept Spurs a solid outfit playing nice football. His win % there still only sits around the 55% mark, alongside zero trophies. You can point to net spend but if that’s the main basis of your point then Wengers tenure at Arsenal over 20 years is most impressive.Don't think he's even the best in the league. Pochettino is.

Yeah, that was a weird season. After knocking United out, they had Lyon, Deportivo and then Monaco. Looks more like a UEFA Cup run, really.Mou CL win with Porto was amazing, however I feel when people discuss it they leave out a lot of context.
Klopp Dortmund and Simone Atletico were more underdogs then Mou 03-04 Porto.
You're over-dramatizing a bit. If the ball or the pitch are shit, you're entitled to complain about it. Not a big deal. I'll still mock him for it for about 5 minutes, just because he's the City manager, and then forget about it because I don't actually care. It's the same with most people. If any other manager made that comment about the ball, they'd be smeared as an embarrassment. But because it's Saint Pep, thou shalt not criticize.
If Mourinho would have said that, everyone would be raving how clever he is, for deflecting from a bad performance.

I'd be fuming if people have an issue with Mou saying the same thing. It's common in football for the ball to effect a game and how it's played. He won't be the first nor the last. Even more common in international tourneys. If Mourinho would have said that, everyone would be raving how clever he is, for deflecting from a bad performance.

Didn't realise the League Cup matchball was a Mitre Delta, nor did I realise they still made Mitre Delta. They were the best ball you could buy back in the early 90s. You were the cock of the school if you had one.
