Wow, Spurs believed they were favorites for the title and now find themselves 21 points behind Man City before Christmas. Remarkable how bad this season has developed for them. In 7th position in the table, meeting Juventus in the CL, going ouf of the only cup they could win (League Cup), Dele Alli severely failing to live up to last season, getting destroyed by Man City tonight.

This game has actually looked like a game between City and a Championship-team.

But they are getting a new stadium!

So Poch to United?

Poch is still a great manager, but his players are letting him down now. Many of them seem to play without motivation, the season is over before it started. Players want to do a Walker and actually win something, that is not happening with Spurs.

Just saw the tackle from Dele Alli on de Bruyne. What a coward, what an absolute cretin of a little boy. He is deliberately trying to injure de Bruyne, should be banned for 10 games, but of course he got a yellow and nothing can be done. Shame on you Alli, average player and scum of a human-being.

They were trash and very naive. City were pressing them like mad yet they never tried playing in the zones or spaces, all this passing through defence bollocks. Trippier, Winks, Dier looking like pub players when it's not going all smoothly. Ali looking terrible atm, don't think Pogba has ever looked this bad @GlastonSpur

Poch to leave Spurs this summer? Doesn't seem to be working his magic on the squad this year. Perhaps it's complacency, perhaps they're being outclassed in tactics every game, whatever it may be, I doubt he'll stay on if they don't make it to the CL next season.

Predictable performance and result.

That's what happens when your manager is bleating about the opponent being the 'best team in Europe' before the fecking kick off.

Good to see Alli and a few others actually up for it though. Was fun watching citeh's precious little oil brats writhing around whingeing, for a while at least.

That Spurs team were extremely motivated that game; they were pressing like mad and putting in tackles, making runs, trying to pass. They were simply outclassed at everything. Once again it highlights how Pochettino is tactically naive; he tried to out pass a Guardiola team and got humiliated.

One of the manager's task is to motivate their players. They won't win anything this season probably and can see their best players leaving one by one.

Poch has a lot of potential, but as yet, cannot mix it with the best managers in our league.
It will be interesting to see if/when he is able to win a trophy.
I'm sure his time will come.

4-1 against MCFC (luckily they saved a penalty, otherwise it could've been 5-1), is poor.
Could have easily given up 7 to 10 goals today and lucky not to finish with 9 men.

50/50 on the possession though.

Unbelievable, I've not seen anything like this in a big game.

Kane to Real Madrid is the one of the most nailed on things next summer. But because of the World Cup it will play out like the Pogba transfer.

We'll probably even get a report from Ballbag that Kane was on the phone crying because Levy is holding him hostage.

Nope. I'm one of those that's pretty vocal against us getting him. Don't think he has that winning mentality and can be tactically naive at times.
Needs to prove us wrong big time, but can't see it at the moment.

I predict that Spurs will show us how to play against City in their own turf. Whether they lose or win, I'm confident they will put up a fight and not set up for a draw.

Yep, Spurs have definitely shown us

Was a bit sarcastic. Seen a lots of those kind of posts.

Oh I see:lol:

Plus he's won nothing. I bet a few posters would be very unhappy if we had someone who won nothing, cause that very much matters.

We were crap no doubt but Harry won't be going anywhere in the summer.

I find it difficult to laugh at Spurs getting spanked when it was City who did the spanking.

The new super stadium will save them in any case, right Glaston?

That's a very bold statement all things considered.

If Spurs continue to perform inconsistently for the remainder of the season and ultimately fail to make top 4, there will be consequences.

It's not a bold statement at all Kane won't be sold this summer he has said as much himself, not the season before we move stadium. Coulda be consequences but it won't be Kane, no point talking about it till next summer.

It would be silly of them but I wouldn’t bank on it if you don’t make the money spots (CL). Shareholders need to see money coming back in after the cost of your new stadium has rocketed above estimates

I think Kane will go to Bayern Munich to replace Lewandoski. He is not a graceful striker, but is very efficient perfect fit for Bayern.

They were piss poor today and seemed to lose control a bit 2nd half. Really need Toby back as their defence is a shambles without him.

lol I not going to argue cause there's is no point, Kane won't be sold in the summer, it's stupid flip flopping back every time we lose a game, top 4 is still very possible.

Should Spurs fail to make top 4, the offers will come flooding it for Harry Kane. The type of offer that cannot and will not be ignored.

Of course it’s possible. That’s why I said IF they don’t make top 4

Seems like Poch has outgrown/got too comfortable at Spurs. He's got them as far as he realistically can, and they haven't really got anything to give him in return.
The players really let him down today, I actually think he had them set up really well against City, his players were positive and got into some great positions.
The main problem was that the players aren't good enough to challenge. The likes of Alli, Lloris, Alderwiereld and even Kane might not be all they're cracked up to be. Poch needs to be brave and see if any top club will take him in the summer, otherwise his career might peeter out before its properly begun.

Think you are right, he will most likely give you one more season, but if you aren't challenging by then he is most likely off.
