Another walk in the park for City, without breaking a sweat.
and two headed goals from 5' 7" Aguero.
If I did it'd be my own fault - that's the point.Yeh, I'm sure if you were out there you'd never do that, because we know that professional footballers didnt get the stellar training that you got![]()
When you look at Citys wingers/attackers compared to our options, it's really depressing isn't it.
Sterling, Sane, Jesus, De Bruyne, Bernardo, David Silva.
Martial, Rashford, Lingard, Mata, Mkhitaryan.
Read that and try not to weep. Negligible squad-building to be honest.
Not really. They’re just coached better.

Yep. People really think that buying two or three big names will suddenly make us play the stuff City are playing and have the same amazing movement to play it out from defense and transition into attack. Not really. They’re just coached better.
Yeah it feels like some 13 year old is playing career mode on amateur difficultyThis is FIFA 18 on super easy mode for City
That's what ruthlessness gets you. It gives you a psychological advantage before a ball is even kicked. The problem with this City side is that teams are shit scared of playing against them. That plays into City's hands so well because they thrive with possession. If Pep buys more players in Jan, I can't see them slowing down.

All I did there was read the third line and weep that we aren't getting more out of that. It's the coaching more than anything. Attacking wise Jose isn't doing well enough. When you look at Citys wingers/attackers compared to our options, it's really depressing isn't it.

Yup, fecking juventus and barcelonaIt's one of the reasons why Utd in the Fergie era was so difficult to beat. There is also a mental factor involved playing against top teams. Your players are most likely to make mistakes and allow the team to punish them.
While you mostly have a point, it's unfair not to include Pogba in our list. With that being said, City also have Aguero.

hate it, but have to agreeWhen you look at Citys wingers/attackers compared to our options, it's really depressing isn't it.

Movement and attacking positioning. Our options aren't as good as theirs but more could be done as ours end up in a dead end half the time with nobody to pass to and little support from fullbacks.What.
Jesus isn't a wide attacker. Sterling, Sane and Bernardo are their definitive wide attackers.Yeah, lets say we remove KDB then as he's not exactly a winger/attacker either. Still makes for absolutely frightening reading. I didn't include Aguero or Lukaku as the point I was getting at was more the wide attackers we both have.
Wouldn't understand if they really went for him. He's turning 30 and would only take minutes from City's young talents. And they are still chasing Sanchez.
Mkhitaryan thrived when playing for Tuchel, who shares some of Pep's ideas. It wouldn't be far fetched to suggest that Mkhitaryan might be seriously good at City. I'd go as far as saying he'd be a perfect fit there.I agree about the attacking side of Jose's approach but Mata, Mkhi, Lingard are several tiers below City's attackers - these are not bad players but they are nowhere near good enough for a side with serious title aspirations.

Rotation. They play many games and if Kun leaves Sanchez is flexible to play on the flanks and in the centre. The only true wide players they have are Sterling and Sane. Silva is still seen as a D. Silva replacement.Wouldn't understand if they really went for him. He's turning 30 and would only take minutes from City's young talents.
ThereEnglish commentators sometimes are just dumb: Gabbiadini goes for the ball, gets an knee on the ribs and they talk about theatrics, like he was wasting time when his team's going for the winning goal. Just stupid commentary!

It's not nonsense, it's a part of the equation for sure. Look at Sterling. The guy was being ridiculed on basically every board about football I've ever read, people were sure Pep would kick him out of City and now the guy looks like a worldstar in the making. That's no coincidence.Sorry that's just nonsense. I don't believe you can't see the difference in quality.
Probably just going to replace Aguero. Pretty fair that he doesn't want to just get Jesus to be his main and only striker with little competition.Wouldn't understand if they really went for him. He's turning 30 and would only take minutes from City's young talents.
