Were PSG fans booing Neymar in the PK??

Isn't Ronnie in 07/08 the only non striker to hit 30 goals? I highly doubt Neymar would be THAT good in the prem tbh.. 15-20 would be his averageHe’d score 30 in the prem.
Look at how many Sanchez scores. Neymar no doubt is the superior player.

Yes they were, Cavani had the chance to become the club's top goalscorer and Neymar already had a hattrick, so a bit selfish from him. Were PSG fans booing Neymar in the PK??![]()
He's just scored 4 in one game to take him to 19, Salah is on 18. I do think Neymar is a better player but Salah is having the season of his life. Neymar would be high up in the scoring charts every season I'm sure but I don't think he'd outscore Kane either. You think he would have trouble outscoring Salah?
Okay.
Neymar would destroy this league.
Neymar played 16 games: 19 goals/13 assists. Salah played 20 games: 18 goals/6 assists. But the EPL is tougher. The Champions League is a better parameter: Salah 5 goals/ 1 assist; Neymar 6 goals/3 assists. Very similar. He's just scored 4 in one game to take him to 19, Salah is on 18. In a team like City he'd rattle off some rather impressive stats. What City do in the prem is no less than what PSG do in league 1. It's this lack of competitiveness that creates scenarios where players dominate like this statistically. There's a reason none of them can do that sort of thing on the international stage as no team really dominates in the way the really top clubs in Europe do in their leagues or even the CL. It's the worst part of the post pep era imo. His finishing may be weak but that doesn't matter all that much if you get chance after chance.Didn’t say he wouldn’t destroy the league. I said he isn’t really a great goal scorer because finishing is one of the weaker aspects of his game. I can’t see him getting 30 league goals. 30+ in all competition definitely. In the EPL, He would certainly torment defenders, create a host of chances, and have good scoring and assist number.
Yes, i saw the Whoscored before my post; but since DBS235 said he was in 19 goals i assumed Whoscored was not couting the last game yet, this why i said 16 games not 15. But as i said the best parameter is the CL, not the French league.whoscored says it's 15/11 in 15, including today's match - https://www.whoscored.com/Players/50835/MatchStatistics/Neymar
Ligue1 is pretty shitty. Depay has there 8 goals and Balotteli 12...
Neymar's low goal tally was because his finishing was horrific last season for some reason. His all-around play was excellent, but his finishing was atrocious.
Seems it's somewhat normalized this season.
Neymar would tear this league a new arsehole. The step up is hardly as big as many people make it out to be, some of the best players this league has ever seen have come from the French League. Mahrez, Kante, Hazard etc. didn't have many problems adapting to England.
He's the second best in the World behind Messi. Phenomenal player
It hasn’t normalised if you look at his goal scoring record in Spain, it is easily the best it has ever been.
Valencia, Sanchez and Herrera/Fellaini to sandwich him all game.Valencia will take care of him when we meet in the CL final.![]()
This. Cavani fought to take penalties and proceeded to miss. Neymar is the penalty taker.I think the penalty taker should take the penalties. Unless it is a very rare situation like the last game of the season and there is only one outfield player who hasn't scored.
Cavani will of course break that record. More than likely in the next match.
His finishing was poor for some reason and he was more of a creator than scorer. Barca's main creative outlet in factHe scored 13 goals last season for Barca. I don't even know how it's possible to score 13 goals alongside Messi, Iniesta and Suarez as a world class player.
Cris was very much a striker that seasonIsn't Ronnie in 07/08 the only non striker to hit 30 goals? I highly doubt Neymar would be THAT good in the prem tbh.. 15-20 would be his average
I don't set them at a higher standard. Just saying there's been plenty of CL groups in history no stronger than this one yet noone ever scored as many goals as PSG this season.@BBRBB
You don't see much of Celtic then!
Neymar et all are wonderful going forward, Im just weary of setting these 2 teams up as a higher standard than French football just to prove a point.

The free scoring nature of PSG this season has little to do with the quality of L1.
Hazard has never scored as many goals in the PL as he did in his last season in France. Neymar would be great in England but there is no way he would be averaging close to a goal and an assist per game here. There is no evidence to suggest that whatsoever.
And yet Martial had no issues racking up 17 goals in his debut season in England, despite moving to left wing in the latter half of that season.
