Football isn't linear like this but the facts are that Roma, 4th in Italy squeezed past the top and undefeated Spanish team and the 4th placed Spanish team squeezed past the top Italian team.
Nervous does not really explain the absolute certainty everyone seems to express regarding their win over Roma.

Roma are really good in the CL.
They topped their group with Chelsea and Atletico Madrid. They have a very tactically astute manager, who won't walk right into Liverpool's hands like Baldy.
Juventus were 30 seconds away from beating Madrid. And they were extremely wasteful in the 1st leg. Going to Madrid with a 3 goal deficit was not a clear reflection of their performance.

Roma are a decent side, I wouldn't be surprised if they get to the final. Good semis for me - a Real Bayern match is deeply boring so better it be now than in the final.

Well, you are partly right because no way PR team would know these things but the draw is 100% fixed. Remember the leak in 2012 when someone (Sky Sports I think ?) posted a picture from draw rehearsal just to be 100% the same the next day? It was for last 16, so the odds are impossible.„leak“

Yeah exactly, round of 16 is simple because teams from the same country cannot be drawn against each other so that drastically limits options.
BTW, away from Liverpool stuff, is this the hardest pathway Madrid took for the final of CL ? It's like they're getting the easy draws in 2014 competition coming back to hunt them.
