To be fair there was slight contact on Lingard's foot at the beginning of the tackle. Not sure if it was enough to make him stumble though or whether Lingard was looking for the foul. And then after Lingard stumbled his foot did definitely get caught underneath the defender, although by then it's either a dive or a penalty based on the first instance.
We truly have seen everything on this WC. This is something else.
