Message from Sir Alex Ferguson

This was just fantastic, first time we have ever seen him since coming home and he looks as handsome and healthy as ever. Incredibly happy for himself and his family for pulling through. You just got to admire his fighting spirit, what an incredible man!

As a nurse at the BMI Alexandra in Cheadle, I can say that Sir Alec was nothing short of a true gent on our ward, he was polite and courteous though poorly and still managed to crack jokes with staff.

Possibly my proudest experience as a nurse and a red is being able to say that I helped look after Sir Alec when he needed us.

So good to see. Looks great, hope to see him at a game later in the season!

When news broke that he was rushed to hospital I was fearing the worst, and it was deeply saddening to imagine a world without him in it. It's great to see him healthy again and it's going to be brilliant to see him at OT this season.

Nice to see.

Hopefully it's not long before he's well enough to attend games.

Oh my goodness can't wait to get home and hear this. So happy to see him!

Thank you and your team.
Its crazy how I and so many others can have such love and affection for a man we either have never met or barely know. An inspirational and amazing man.

He has aged 15 years since i last saw him what 3 month ago...
Good to see him back.

Don’t forget he’s nearly 80!

Considering his age and what he has recently been through he looks remarkably well.

Keep fighting boss

So pleased to see this. Hope he can make a full recovery and really enjoy the rest of his life, he deserves it.

What a guy he is
