Sarah Sanders also said Brennan’s “lying and recent conduct, characterized by increasingly frenzied commentary, is wholly inconsistent with access to the nation’s most closely held secrets”.

I wouldn't say it's the most important factor but it definitely could be one of the more relevant ones behind the spike in Trump's approval ratings within the black community.Barcelona are not in decline. Madrid are used to playing Barcelona. Obviously they've lost their coach etc and that will effect them. When Sir Alex said he would retired first time round we were shockingly bad for a large period. They're not in decline. They are still the team to beat inspite of Madrids recent form.

A security clearance does not mean you can just access classified information at will. It means you are cleared to view classified information on a need-to-know basis. So the whole "he shouldn't have access because he's dumb and bad and was mean to Cheeto-man" is stupid, because his clearance gave him access to nothing. For all intents and purposes, he might as well not have had one for all the use it was to him. I know that's not why they revoked it, just commenting on how dumb their supposed reason for revoking it is.
Interesting.
....and look at what every headline is about. It was a rather pointless move by Trump. The fact that the paper was dated 3 weeks ago shows it was little more than a petty attempt to usurp the news cycle away from Omarosa's claims and in the process settle a few petty scores with former officials who are criticizing him in the news.
....and look at what every headline is about.
The thing with Trump is that he's so disgusting we've forgotten that the media are almost as bad.
Trump has more moral and personal failings than almost any other human being I can recall, but he is an absolute master-herder of the cattle-class that is the media. It's so simple too.Yep...he was successful in getting the Omarosa stuff mostly out of the headlines, which happens to have gone down a day after Trump's lawyers are attempting to get Omarosa into private arbitration (and out of the press).
Interesting.
Trump keeps tweeting about this so I was hoping for polling. But outside Rasmussen:

Indeed. Having worked in DC I also seemed to notice they were pretty active in attending events for the more conservative leaning trade associations so I can only imagine they skew their data.Rasmussen's numbers almost always skew towards the GOP (despite their adamant denials they have a bias). Silver has given them a C+ rating (fairly poor).

Is Rasmussen reliable? Guess the black people with conservative view support Trump. 36% is still a big support among them though. This cannot be true. Utterly bonkers if so. The man is a racist whose every policy is done first and foremost for wealthy, white, men.
The point about black unemployment is such a red herring as to almost be comical. He's basically bragging about how many crumbs have fallen off his table.
Then again, I don't know how many black Americans get their news primarily from Fox News. If they do, then of course they support Trump. As well as curing cancer, world hunger and mass incarceration he's also won the PGA championship this weekend.
This is brilliant
Isn't black unemployment down? Could be a contribution towards that figure
Trump has gone batshit the last few days with his witch hunt and illegal & unfair Mueller investigation Tweets. He's quoting and retweeting anyone and anything that has the narrative he's trying to push.
He really is going overboard on the anti Mueller investigation stuff now. He's obviously very worried about things that are going to come out, but at the same time, he's being backed by a fair few others and of course Fox News is promoting his bs too.
I fear that if and when it all comes to a head, his base won't believe a word of it, worse, many won't even care, such is their hatred of the left and their love of their cult leader. I really feel the worst is yet to come. I don't think Trump will go easily and I am almost 100% sure his base won't let him either, nor will they let it all happen without a serious fight.
I just hope I'm wrong, but Trump being exposed and brought down could end up being the worst part of this whole embarrassing shitshow.
I wish the whole world would fight fire with fire at times.
Trump is apparently king of the nickname. Why do people not go low and do the same?
If every man woman and child that's intelligent enough to realise that Fox News is just a propaganda machine, wrote 'Fox Fake News' every single time they referenced them, damage would be done. Slight. Subtle. But damage nonetheless.
It's petty, juvenile, but at least it's factually accurate at the same time.
They spout damaging bullshit and have it endorsed by a cretin. The vicious circle keeps spinning and people that could attempt to slow it, constantly rise above it. It's crazy.
I honestly do not know what the answer is, it's not just Trump - it's happening all over the western world at the moment - the 'alt-right' are taking over or at least are gaining huge support and traction. It feels like a movement that is becoming increasingly influencial and powerful and the media and politicians in general seem incapable of responding in a way that counters them. In fact some in the media are gleefully supporting it. This could go on for many years I fear and it's very worrying to think where it could lead.
America as a concept, in my view, is now something of the past and is now almost totally destroyed - America's decline is underway and we all will have to get used to it - it's not necessarily a bad thing either in my view but it's what sort of country it turns into is what is concerning me now - right now it is not looking good at all.
America is simply a second tier nation by every metric other than how much money it has. It's a broken country.
The only thing that confuses me is that the bottom 50% vote for the top 10% to stay in power. With that 10% being the only people guaranteed to render them powerless and subservient. It's like they need to be ruled rather than governed.
It's a disgusting country in so many ways. Remove California and it's also a pretty toothless one in terms of its level of importance to the world.
It's such a weird time. Open up a clean browser window clear of any of your influences and the shite that you see, that's normally aggregated and filtered out of sight... is horrifying. Really really stupid people saying proveably incorrect things, being endorsed by even dumber folks. Chuck a few ignorant/closeted/racist coins in the well and it all ramps up further.
There's a whole AI system that's doing it's job perfectly and corrupting entire population bases. Nothing is measured anymore.
My suggestion in the post above was not the ramblings of a frustrated idiot. Just simple adjustments to behaviour, the world at large seeing 'Fox' and 'Fake' next to each other a lot more often, by a lot more people. It actually does affect change.
My girl is a Director at one of the worlds largest online Publishers. I've been fortunate/unfortunate enough to spend time with the guys that run the content aggregation services, the third party ad-providers, ad-tech creators and sellers, commercial teams that monetise content. The one universal truth is: Stupid people are easier to monetise.
Do you know how much hard work it is to monetise intellectuals? Or on the flip side, continue to monetise an average joe - but provide great content that's balanced, without nuance & doesn't spoon feed them what they should believe? It costs soooo much more. It's never done.
The world is fcuked. America is leading the charge to rock bottom.

It’s exactly what you expect to happen when you have an insular nation with an exaggeratedly sense of exceptionalism, coupled to the rampant corporate lobbying that exploits the ignorance of the population.
Rasmussen probably poled 11 people, two of which were Ben Carson and Darrell Scott, and only needed two more to approve of Trump to reach 36%.
