Is he the one who kept tweeting at Trump in the vain hope that Trump would help him out of his legal difficulties, or am I thinking of someone else?

Not sure. He's been making pro-Trump tweets for the past couple of years. Probably fancies himself as a future Trump.

Surely that Trump quote contradicts itself?

You're Daft if you think that London defines England.

Or that Paris defines France.

And so on.

America without California is an absolute car crash of a country. Not just economically but along all other lines.

You currently have the worlds 6 largest economy in-house. Stemming the tide of racism and small town / small world attitude. Remove that and America is an absolute horror show.

I am not daft, it's the reality.

London's contribution to the UK gdp is around 22%. The Greater Paris region contributes about 30% to the overall French economy. Tokyo's gdp is around 33% of the overall Japanese economy. Comparatively, California's contribution to the overall US economy is only around 13.3%. New York and Texas are next with 9.5% and 8.1% respectively.

Every country in the world has a few pockets as major economic centers. All areas/regions of the countries cannot have an equivalent contribution towards the gdp. Usually there is a movement and high concentration of people in Urban job centers.

So, that's your myth busted about America being a car crash of a country economically without California. Which is an asinine position to take in the first place.

There is a general urban/rural divide everywhere. This is not a unique phenomenon limited to the US. Big states and cities are more cosmopolitan in nature and cohabit more peacefully, less afraid of the "other". It's areas which are not as diverse in nature which tend to be more conservative and want to hold on to "tradition". US is a huge country, the mid-west and southern parts of the US are more rural and tend to be more conservative whereas the coasts are more liberal and more progressive. Though with-in the mid-west and the south too there are urban centers which are progressive.

If you take a map of Brexit that is exactly what you'll find. A huge divide between how the urban and rural pockets voted for the 'Yes' or the 'No' vote. In fact data of most countries will show a similar pattern.

Have to hand it to Omarosa...she's one of the few people (along with Avenatti) who knows how to out-Trump...Trump and drive him into instant rage tweeting.

Dear God

please can there be a tape of Pence mocking your son Jesus

Thanks

Barca

Can we have a wish list then?

SHS complaining about the utter lies Trump makes her tell the press every day.

Ivanka talking about what a creep he is towards her.

More people in his circle calling him a moron to add to Tillerson. Don Jr or Kushner would be great.

Pence admitting he's just biding his time and expects to take over soon.

Trump mocking his rally supporters and admitting he's conning them.

The economics was referenced (and to be honest I had a figure of 20% in my head) as part of a whole.

The deep dive above with comparisons to Brexit isn't the point either.

While Leave voters may wish to have a more robust immigration policy, they would never vote en masse for;

- A pay or you're fcuked medical system
- Unlimited war
- University fees that destroy lives
- The death penalty
- Mass incarceration
- A regression of gay rights
- Anything that diluted gender equality
- Guns for everyone

It's easy enough to find people that vote republican that will endorse so much of that.

You can't possibly tell me that California, as a populace and as an economy, keeps America honest in this regard. If it was a bunch of hippies in the desert without any $ output, they would be ignored. I haven't been to every state. I'm sure that other states are progressive and liberal.

But lose California, the economic power, the electoral college votes that are owned by progressive people.... America would be a no-go zone inside a few decades.

It's this I was getting at. I probably got a bit ranty about it, admittedly.

Remove London from England or Paris from France and you don't see the same outcomes.

The ultimate would be confirmation of his tiny manhood.

18 years is the age limit for people to be tried as adults and a lot of people have gone to prison for offences less sinister than this, so the dad can spare us the bullshit and accept the consequences of his failure as a parent.

I don't buy into these polls either way. My personal view is the democrats will take the house for sure, and if the republicans are lucky they might just be able to cling onto the senate. It's a protest against Trump and plenty of people across the aisles despise him so they will unify for that cause. Impeachment process will begin. If Trump somehow gets to 2020 the divided standpoint of opponents will be more forefront. On one hand they might unify from the lesson of 2016 that it has to be Anyone But Trump so the squabbles of left/centrists may subside. On the other the ideological battle may increase because of 2016 and the forthcoming Trump presidency. I think either Biden or Bernie stand a good chance to beat him but if they run against each other for the nomination it will play into Trump's hands.

Can't read. Can you give us the jist?
The Rasmussen numbers are hugely out of sync with much larger, regular polls which all have his African American support around or less than 10% .

Won't stop Donnie touting how much Blacks love him given no president has ever done more for them.

Personally I find the timing worrying: same week as his only black staffer is attacking the magic poll fairy appears and gives him a positive message. How...coincidental.

He wants a Korean style military parade, right? Tanks and missiles rolling down Constitution Avenue to compensate for his tiny manhood.

Every day that passes without us having to witness such an aberration increases my appreciation of government bureaucracy.

Thanks.

Oh God I cringed so hard I pulled a muscle...

Rasmussen is always, always quoted by some of the brightest far-right people I have the pleasure of interacting with, and it pretty much always goes down like this from their pov.

-Laugh at all polls that doesn't show Trump in a good light, they are wrong because polls said Hillary would win in 2016
-Proudly quote Rasmussen poll which shows Trump in a good light even though it's clearly the outlier by quite a big margin every single time
-Ignore reply that highlights all the other polls and your irony impairment
-Wait two weeks and repeat
