I don’t care how much some of us might think less of this team that we’ve put out but under a competent manager with solid tactics and someone who the players want to give their all for - we wouldn’t be looking all at sea like this.

People blaming Smalling for not clearing the ball perfectly?

McTominay's inability to man mark is what led to that chance

Young was terrible in both of their goals. Didn't think Bailly should've been taken off.

Despite all this, I still believe a proper manager after Mourinho is sacked can get us to a top six finish. Top four looks out of reach, however, after the hole Mourinho has dug for us.

I mean for all the things I expected to see under Mourinho, fro his childish nonsense to the dire football, never would I have thought it would be the defense that goes to complete shit under him. I'm at a loss for words when it comes to our defending and leaving McT in there instead of Bailly certainly isn't making things easier either.

Bailly was terrible for both goals too. Who exactly was he watching after? Such an average defender who is not serious about football at all, he was so passive during those two goals.

It's weird. After that Mirror article followed by the subsequent 'denials' from the board and then this performance I'm finding myself going a little conspiracy nut.

Fellaini on at half time for ...... I'm going to say Mata.

    Just because.

    You have to admire Dave.

The fecking shit he's had to play behind for the last 6 seasons and yet he still clearly works hard, keeps his motivation and composure and does the business.

He genuinely is wasting his career at Utd and that really hurts to admit.

I can't understand how the fans are ok with being fed shit like this. The stands should be empty. No point in supporting a team that clearly is throwing games to get a new manager in, so that they can continue to pick up ridiculous sums of money whilst actually being shit footballers.

Another free-kick into our box from Newcastle and Lascelles makes a run completely unmarked. He makes a mess of his header and it's high and wide but where was the marking?

We're at sixes and sevens at the back half the time.

Bailly was an absolute disaster, one of the main reasons we're 2 goals down

Young was terrible in both of their goals. Didn't think Bailly should've been taken off.

Agreed. A bizarre substitution. By all means go for it with another attacking player, but take Young off after his double debacle.

I never want DDG to leave, and if he had left a few years ago I would have been disappointed as I felt the club had stood by him when he was getting pelters from all angles.

But, I don't really think he owes us anything by now. If he leaves I don't think I'd hold it against him. He's good enough to win multiple CLs.

Well if it gets rid of Jose faster then is probably for the best. But it's not nice to watch.
Get rid of everyone in this match as well other than De Gea. Bunch of unprofessional players aren’t what we need. I’ll sooner see us play the academy players and get trashed than watching this sorry excuse of a team pretending to be Man Utd players.

I'd genuinely sell Lukaku at half time if I could

That makes it worse. He’s cheating a living by being bad on purpose.

Yup wasn’t defending it - just saying I find it hard to believe some of these guys are as bad as they’re looking right now. They clearly want the manager out and are probably sick of the board taking long to make a decision. It’s a form of protest IMO.

God almighty we have no idea what to do when we're in the final third. What do we do in training? Why is it so hard for us?

Anyone defending the manager is fecking bonkers. This is exactly what happened at Chelsea, the man is a toxic shambles. We need a new manager and we’ve needed one for ages. I don’t care if there are problems with the board, the quality of players Mourinho has, he should be comfortably getting a lot better out of this squad.

Young and Valencia should not have be starting for United. No other top tier team would be starting those two.
my thread saying that two weeks before the season started was closed down
