Yeah, my point was that the ones praising this as a Mourinho masterclass and saying we'll do the same at Emptihad are fooling themselves. If we play the same this weekend we'll lose, we can't always rely on luck and poor finishing while parking the bus for 80 minutes and 25 shots.
Looking at it, the actual shot is much quicker following the dummy than you often see, which suggests practice on timing... I think that there may have been some work on angles of running and the effect on predictabil8ty and visibility from the keepers perspective.
Yes. I was surprised how fast Mata took it almost immediately after Young stepped over the ball

No we weren't. Juve are an excellent team and their movement will put lots of big teams under pressure. They did have some nice chances but we were hanging in there. You can sway it was a smash and grab but we wre definitely not terrible. We actually were able to control possession much more than I thought we would. How we didn't lose this 10-0 is beyond me. Delighted for the win but we were absolutely terrible.

there are a lot of stupid fans in this forum celebrating the win. No doubt a win is a win. but do these guys see how bad we played?
Lingard in attacking midfield again? Matic continued his poor poor form and not being substituted? What an awful 80 minutes for Man Utd until funny Allegri used 5 centre backs and gave up midfield control that caused their game.
No fantasy. Again another game ruined by stupidity of both managers. You dare to watch these nights after nights ?
Honestly, he's terrible when he's rushed too.He is terrible at one on ones, but decent when he doesn’t have time to thin too much. We need RVN to coach him on one on ones. He needs to learn to be ruthless. It’s mental issue plus control.

Added a few to the ignore list going through here tonight.
Any United fan tthat doesn't take joy from a game like that isn't worth listening to.
Didn't even know the ignore function existed until you mentioned it. Thanks for that.Added a few to the ignore list going through here tonight.

We played against one of the best teams in Europe. They did everthing right except scoring the goals and in the end they count. We saw a different Manchester United, well structured, well organised and with a lot of guts, but a few players couldn't cope with it long enough. Juve scored a world goal and we fought back and José did the rest.Which game were you watching?
City, Spurs, Liverpool even Chelsea would turn this Juventus team over. They're a very good side but with the way some of our fans were talking you'd have thought we were playing prime Barcelona of 2011.
United fans being called stupid for celebrating a win. Oh the times.
Oh and downplaying how strong Juve is. From one of the contenders of CL to a team everybody would turn over.
It's because many fans cannot separate things. Hating Mourinho doesn't mean you cannot appreciate the win last night. Just like the win last night doesn't mean we are a great side.United fans being called stupid for celebrating a win. Oh the times.

Potato Po-ta-to. Cuadrado's open goal, Dybala's shot hitting the bar, Khedira hitting the post, Pjanic big miss in the area and his long drive from 40 yards. That's five occasions where they hit the woodwork or was milimetres from it. And that's just counting big misses from the top of my head. Juve had 23 fecking shots.
Wtf are you on about?
I'd say he must have improved or Juventus wouldn't have bought him.Scholes saying Szczesny hasn't improved since he left Arsenal. How many times do you reckon he has watched him since?
Ashley was getting slammed the whole game, then pulls out that beautiful cross right at the end.Bit of a smash and grab. We were definitely better then we were at home, though.
From the start of the game, we pressed up the pitch, and at times, won the ball high up the pitch.
We kept the ball pretty decent at times, and created good openings, but we didn't really threaten.
Think we responded well, having gone a goal down. Again, created some good moments, but never really looked like scoring.
Thankfully, two moments of magic won us the game. Mata's free kick and Young's delivery.
Great win and should give us plenty of confidence going into the next game.
