It really does feel like we have our club back, doesn’t it? It’s like the past few years it was stolen away, and there were so many threads stating they’d fallen out of love. The poison and bile has cleared and we can concentrate on the football again. That’s the most important thing right now, the football. Feels like I forgot what it actually looked like to play with that kind of confidence, seems we all have.

And our celebrations back!

Yes!

How did we ever hire that prick?

This feels so so good
In hindsight, I really wonder how or why we hired him. Not too worried about how Ole does with us - just not being associated with that prick feels a step in the right direction!

And here’s hoping it brings about an improvement in this forum too.

What’s done is done. The point-scoring and ‘I told you so’ should end. We all want the same thing for Manchester United.

Let’s go.

Not as bad as Jose. They were not good enough, Jose was just a cnut

Perhaps. Now let's hope the post Fergie United will start to resemble the real United. Ole, Phelan and Carrick - I like this.

What a performance! haven't seen anything like that in years.
Great start to Christmas that

I feel like the first time in a long time we're Manchester United again, even though Ole has yet to have a game. We've had so many square pegs for a round hole. First their was the heir apparent, Moyes was brought in and literally told everything is in place for him all he had to do was work with the staff there, keep to the United way and learn on the job, instead he sacked them all and brought in his own guys and tried to make us play his Everton way. Next we tried the seasoned Euro Manager who could supposedly teach us how to play the fashionable possession based continental football and yawn. Then we had the serial winner but he was so dour in his style it felt like you were actually watching the club tear itself apart as it battled it's own soul to fit his needs. It feels now that we have hopefully turned a corner and instead they are looking to get in a manager who will play the way the spirit of the club wants to play. I know everyone is looking at this as a stop gap but I really hope that Ole nails it and becomes our new permanent manager because I feel like the club has found its soul again.
I posted this earlier in a different thread. after watching that, it was the most us I've seen in a long time. It just feels right.

Maybe not Van Gaal, but Moyes got rid of our title winning backroom staff. I hold him in contempt for that.

I’m smiling from ear to ear!

Not just the result but performances like that is why I grew up adoring Man Utd!

I would have half disagreed until in the post match interview he again praised the whole team without singling anyone out.

He certainly has the correct attitude.

Win,Lose or draw,United should ALWAYS strive to entertain. We can be pragmatic for the odd game....But we should always play entertaining football...That was just lovely to watch...Can’t wait for the next game!

That one game gave me more pleasure than at any point of the last three managers reigns.

I predict first on MOTD boys !!!!!!!!!!!!

:D:devil::eek:

On a day when City got done in in a 5 goal game. Surely our resurrection and 6 goal game takes precedence!

I'm actually excited about the next game. What is happening??

Thought Saturday would never come. It was everything I'd hoped. That's my United

Not sure yet we can say we have the club back, but certainly the attitude and the smiles are back. Now the thrill of looking forward towards an upcoming match can return, instead of the dread of what might be in store.

The next appointment is critical. After three appointments that didn't align with the DNA and the personality of this club, the next manager needs to have a similar mindset. Style of play should be a top criteria of selection.

If we again sort the list of available manager based on their profile and hire the first in the list, we may again end up in a totally different direction.

Nice to actually read this forum and see so many positive posts this evening. Some very food vibrations around the club and may they continue for the foreseeable future.

I spent maybe 2minutes on my phone during that game and that was just to check if others thought it wasn't a pen for Cardiff
This season I've not put my phone down, completely buzzing after that and kept having to pull myself up on the chair.

Bring on the next fecking game chop chop, feck Xmas, Utd's back!

It’s still too early to feel like the top dogs in the table but the performance of today has awakened most of us to see how deep we sunk in the black hole.
