Champions League Round of 16 (12th Feb - 13th Mar)

I take pleasure in seeing Courtois failing at Real. Had a good dose of realism this season. He isn’t as good as he thinks.

Poor Solari. How is going to get out of the stadium in one piece?

Mane, yes, he's an amazing talent greatly benefiting from Klopp's system, but fekin Llalana?!

Exactly and I've been following his career ever since his days playing for Vojvodina, but my bias is not the reason we're having this discussion, feel that you're underrating him just because he's playing in the Dutch league.

Wasn't serious about the Serbia thing btw.

And it's not necessarily that I under rate him because he plays in that league, more that I saw nothing in 4 years in the Premier League that leads me to think he's capable of producing this level on a regular basis in a top league.

This is the happiest I've been watching a football match since our home game versus PSG. This is so damn brilliant.

feck off Courtois

Probably the only Chelsea player I never warmed up to.

Ajax are hammering Madrid at the Bernabeu. Didn't they get fecked over by the ref in the home leg too? This could be even worse. de Jong is some player.

Fiorentino the fecker right now must be thinking about buying the likes of Mbappe next summer to rebuild the empire

Congratulations Ajax fans, you have finished with more than a thousand days of reign.
I'm not happy, but at least we have been eliminated by a classic.
A great team that has given us a good lesson.

Will be a shame Ajax will be taken apart in the summer tbh. Could become something special.

Yeah it's nice to see Madrid getting shafted in any way possible. Ronaldo must be sat in his Turinese mansion now smirking the smug lad.

Bale is still a dangerous player but he doesn't get involved at all. They need to move him to the wings, he's useless upfront

But he was amongst their best performers each year, constantly producing something despite the constant shifting in the front line. Take him and Graziano Pelle were deadly for a while before Pelle was sold to China.

It’s mental how much difference he makes to whatever team he’s in. Taking United to the champions league, then Real, while both teams lag without him. The most impactful player I’ve ever seen.

As good as he is this is wrong. Well wrong in the sense for United.

United were lucky to win the final vs Chelsea. Terry scores in the shootout and they win it. Ron choked in the shootout.

The final vs Barca the better team won, nothing him or anyone could do.

United got to another final after he left and we lost again to Barcelona. Bar the Moscow victory, we got to 1 with and 1 without him with the same result.

PSG and City have as much chance as Barcelona

Nah.

Messi turns up, no one gets close to Barca. That's still a big if though as he went missing the QF 2nd leg against Roma last year, but if he turns up, the rest of the comp can forget about it.
