No, it won't happen, but our long-term form is awful. We've gotten 11 points from our last 13 games, which is solidly relegation, and we've gotten 17 from our last 17. While that's technically better, in that we've averaged a point a game, it somehow feels worse due to the extra four games...we've almost produced a half-season's worth of relegation form.
And that's been a period in which we've not played Liverpool once, and played City at home...barring two away games against Arsenal our fixtures have been more generous in that 18-game period than your average half-season.
But I think we'll stabilise a bit over the season. Not enough to have anything resembling a successful year, mind, but probably enough to have a similar year to Chelsea in 15-16, if not slightly better.
