900 Italians dead in two days
Probably waiting so they can't be asked about them until tomorrow if they are bad...Have today’s UK numbers not been released?
But we're also doing a good job as well he says. He's just terrible at messaging isn't he. He's just flat out said that the growth of the disease has been impervious to our efforts to contain it.
But we're also doing a good job as well he says.
My favourite part was "we will stand by businesses so I hope businesses stand by their employees".
feck900 Italians dead in two days![]()
Which in itself is an aggressive waste because studies have shown that those classic masks do sweet feck all to combating from getting Covid19.
I know the Tories in here get upset at any criticism of their dear leader but his answers just provide absolutely no comfort to anyone. Just waffling political platitudes.
Times like these need very good statesman to get everyone on board.
Our South west region is the least effected by overall numbers yet I went round 5 supermarkets today and picked up a single banana and 5 onions, no milk or bread or eggs... We be fecked pexI’m queuing outside my local pharmacy for a prescription. They had to close between 3-5.30 because they’ve been overwhelmed. There’s a queue behind me about 30 people long and it’s barely hit Bristol yet.
No way this country has the infrastructure to cope with this.
Yep, not that the numbers can be trusted.Probably waiting so they can't be asked about them until tomorrow if they are bad...
Any pre existing medical condition such as hypertension and diabetes would be counted, yes
That's probably a nervous tick tbf. Must take a lot to stop oneself from using some oafish alliteration and sounding like a pompous arse biscuit. He just said "do you get me" ffs. I think he just made up a remote press conference on the spot then.
"We might as well set fire to the barn because it'll go on fire on its own anyway.....see? It's on fire now"Yes, everyone is going to get it because of imbeciles like you.
Very bold to say we can turn this around in 12 weeks.
He has a habit of making up numbers, I wonder if that was an agreed statement.
Good, our PM says it will be under control in 12 weeks. No reason not to believe him...
He started with it unprompted did he not? Ie it was a planned statementHe has a habit of making up numbers, I wonder if that was an agreed statement.
Well said.Complete plebs. But it's a failure of government to not forcibly close these places. I had to go to library other night before it shut and the pubs were rammed. Frustrating to see.
In this current climate, you’ll struggle to find many people that don’t have Hypertension!Any pre existing medical condition such as hypertension and diabetes would be counted, yes
They should just lock the doors and keep them in there.
The government thinks people are actually listening to them
Fecking wake up Boris you cnut. People don't care![]()
Fecking morons. So when do they enforce any closures or lockdowns? Wait for it to get even worse.
Because the Italians love to smoke. I hope I'm not being an ignorant stereotype-hunting baboon at the moment, but I feel thats why there's such high mortality there.
However the easing of restrictions means that life indeed is gradually returning to normal.

191 new cases in Ireland today, massive jump, perhaps a result of increased testing.
Everyone is saying so. The entire virus started from a person, so as long as someone remains infected, the cycle will repeat. The hope is that we will be more prepared the next time and we will have anti-virals in place (until a vaccine comes). I don't expect life to go back to normality until 2022. The social distancing (and on/off partial lockdowns) are here to stay until then.Alarmingly an expert on infectious agents called Michael Osterholm says once China goes back to work, where people are using the subway and public transport, then the virus will return there. He says our only hope is a vaccine.
It's hereditary as wellCoffee and alcohol also cause an increase in blood pressure. Then you add in old age as well. I have an uncle who never smoked, drank alcohol or drinks coffee and he is on blood pressure pills. He worked all his life and did not exercise at all. He is just old, that is his crime.
Salt and eating bad foods also causes it.
Over half adults over the age of 45 in Ireland have high blood pressure.
I must ask my father what his is next time i see him. He likes a bottle of wine each weekend.
