I saw this earlier which prompted my post:
I don’t think my mind can contemplate the consequences of an all-out outbreak in South Asia.
They are praying dude, clearly they will be saved.

Here you go.Does anyone have stats regarding seasonal flu deaths in Italy in a regular flu season? Wondering how those numbers compare with the current covid-19 numbers.
I won't trust a single thing coming out of China, all they've done is obfuscate, deny, spread disinformation and suppress health professionals.
They could be piling people into mass graves as they release these reports.
Netflix are reducing their streaming quality apparently. Will I pay less for it? Of course not. This is unacceptable. How am I expected to enjoy 4k quality programs if they're being streamed in standard definition and I'm still paying the extra money? Fecking virus.
Oh wait, shite, yeah there's an actual virus
They've upgraded "wash your hands" to "use your elbows to open doors at the pub.
I actually find it amazing that when they're reporting the new numbers they don't say how many there are for a single day, they just give you the running total. Dunno why I find it so odd.
It gets much harderWhoever suggested to download and play Plague Inc. Well I did and wiped out the world on my first play through so is it worth buying full game or is that it. As in, completed it mate?
Totally man. I mean, one minute your episode of Paw Patrol is streaming at 1080p and the next minute Chase looks like a fecking willy in a Japanese porno. This annoys me to be honest, anyone not really keeping up, or like me anyone with information overload who doesn't remember the previous days figure, won't really see the significance each day.
Depends, you probably played with the bacteria plague which is the easiest. There are virus, fungus, parasite, worm, prion etc, all with different characteristics. I'm stuck on the fungal one at the moment. It passes the time for sure, I like it.Whoever suggested to download and play Plague Inc. They've done a lot more. They've published publicly available scientific papers, shared data with the WHO, and discussed treatment strategies that other countries seem to be taking into account.
It must be hard when no one's paying attention to you anymore.
This is why this £350 billion for businesses needed to come with strings attached. People are still going to lose their jobs and the money will just get pocketed like it always does.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-51962981
Won't give food on planes for crew and 3 months unpaid leave.. but will give shareholders a 170mill div
Pretty much.
Tbh. I'm playing it for education purposes but thanks.Depends, you probably played with the bacteria plague which is the easiest. Kinda the equivalent of breeding a maniacal fighting dog, letting it loose in all your neighbour's yards and then 'helping them out' with directions to the nearest Hospital.
This is their doing, this whole thing. And by 'their' I mean the Chinese Government, not any and every person from China.
Cheers.It gets much harder
i dread to think what terrorists think of this. They dont have to do anythingNot saying this is one or buying into any conspiracy theories but can you imagine the damage an actual bioweapon could do? I think this virus has given us an idea. Scary as hell.
The point is whether you trust info from China or not, and I don't see any reason not to. Again, I've read that the treatments they found work best ahve been tested elsewhere and fond to work as well. So it's ont like they're just sending out nonsense data.
WHO did feck up, but that was predictable. However, the #chinalied etc is bullshit.

Sure, they're saints.
Tell that to this doctor's family.

The point of the visual is the WHO seriously messed up in the early stages.
After all this is said and done, we need to start pressuring them to end these wet markets.Kinda the equivalent of breeding a maniacal fighting dog, letting it loose in all your neighbour's yards and then 'helping them out' with directions to the nearest Hospital.

Not quite clear on your timing but it sounds like you may have been infected and cleared? It's hard to know what to say on this anymore, I live in a fairly isolated area in England, and stupidly thought I was fairly insulated, yet my sister has had Covid-19 symptoms (returned from Portugal two weeks ago), rang 111, and they wouldn't test her, my brother's wife has just found out her friend ( a teacher) has tested positive, someone she has seen daily, he was ill 2-3 weeks ago, as was their son, as was I, as was my wife, as was my son, etc, the point is it's just all around us, there is no realistic way of avoiding it.
Absolutely. The best we can do is prepare our bodies to get it (exercise, sleep, food, vitamins), try NOT to get it and also hope that if we do, it’s mild to medium illness.

We won't need to do that. I doubt they still exist and the Chinese will not allow them to resurface. After all this is said and done, we need to start pressuring them to end these wet markets.

Maybe it's time for me to read The Stand again... The time is right.
Interesting he dosen't think closing down schools is an ideal scenario. Nor limiting air travel. Interesting interview. Only time will tell with all these theories.
