She is working from home it seems. Didn't the guidelines say, when lockdown first started, that front line workers' children should be at school if there are no alternative care options? Yeah, I think that’s a fair take. Thing is, Cummings doesn’t have a leg to stand on. And the fact Johnson has backed him so brazenly just goes to show how in his thrall the upper echelons of the party are.
I suspect he can't be sacked because he knows too much about the Vote Leave campaign and its ties to foreign countries, particularly one where he used to live.

Cummings is the sole reason for a BrExit led Tory Government. Without Cummings the whole thing would never have happened and the entire movement falls apart without him.

It’s the highest honour a person can receive in this country so there’s no reason for him to return it. It’s recognition for his service to the public. Your republican fantasies are a minority position in this country so trying to slight him by calling him Sir is pretty useless.
Well, all I can think is that Cummings has so much dirt on the Government that if he's sacked, or pushed out, or forced to resign, he'll spill goodness knows what, which will destroy reputations.
He's already shown himself to be totally unscrupulous and not to give a flying feck, he'd probably enjoy it and look forward to huge sales of his sordid memoirs.
They managed to shut JRM up, because they thought, quite rightly, that he was damaging the image of the party, but they are incapable of controlling this absolute fecking cnut of a man. (I think that's the technical term.)

The true relationship needs to be unearthed. I cannot believe a PM would sacrifice his availability for a mere advisor.
A slight in the eyes of a fringe minority to which you belong. The Express and Mail might deride him as a champagne socialist but they preach to a choir. I think the majority in the UK believe in aspiration so Kier shouldn’t shy away from the fact he came from a humble background to reach the top of society through hard work. It’s a narrative that will resonate with the majority, in my opinion.

He doesn’t like being referred to as Sir because it comes across as too deferential. Plenty of people accept the honour but don’t use the title. I don’t see a conflict in accepting the honour but not wanting to use the title in everyday life, none at all.
Whereas bowing in front of a man, deemed your superior at birth because of how magical his parents' genitals are, to accept it...
If he gave it up the Mail and Express would spend the next four years talking about how he was a commie who disrespected the Queen. It would be a pointless own goal, especially as he’s not a Republican so giving it up wouldn’t make much sense anyway.
