A heavy, 74 year old man has beaten covid in 4 days with a cocktail of drugs
Did/does he really have it, won't be surprised if this was all a election ploy to get people out to vote
Mild case hyped up for political purposes is my guess. What a circus.
Hopefully when his steroids wear off the withdrawals are extreme and he feels absolutely awful and terrified.
Would be terrible if he encouraged his supporters to get sick with covid , wouldn't it?
If they weren't going to spread it to others then it truly would be "awful".
His children & trust apparently also have a vested interest in a couple of the companies that made some of the drugs that were named and supposed to have been used
It's too difficult to fake. Too many people would have to be in on the conspiracy - including doctors, virus testing staff and more - for it to work. Moreover, it keeps the public focused on the virus, which is not what the Trump campaign wants.
A 74 year old on a diet of diet coke and McDonalds beat the virus quite easily it seems. I guess the virus is very unpredictable but I will be honest it does make me less afraid of it.

That would be extremely unwise of you - and this is exactly what is the danger of Trump’s callous statements. At any rate he is not out of the woods yet, COVID has been known to escalate again after a patient has been feeling better for a few days.
You’re probably right. Again, I don’t want him to die before he’s beaten at the polls but I would take a major relapse and intubation.
If I was a doctor I would be embarrassed watching this.

While it seems to follow a pattern of older and unhealthier = more risk, it does also seem to have a very wide variance in outcomes for patients you might assess as having similar risk profiles on just surface characteristics.
I hate him. I actually fecking hate his disgusting fecking guts. He is to blame for putting roadblocks in the way of local governments isolating the virus, for actively supporting the nutjobs, for failing to lead his country and turning the wearing of a mask into an argument against left and right wing politics, all for the sake of protecting his own self interests, and yet he has the audacity to take responsibility for the hard work of the scientific community who have been pushing through the blizzard of shit that he caused.
I didn't think I could find a person in this world with zero redeeming features and yet here we are. He's like a poorly written villain in some shit soap opera. Feck him and feck his cult of dipshit followers. If he gets away with just a mild case then there's no justice in this world.
So irresponsible. No everyone has access to world class round the clock care.
Fair enough, if you have access to a helicopter than can transport you to a private suite in a hospital in two minutes with access to all the drugs in the world.
The only reason he's "feeling good" now is because of all the steroids he's on.

With the amount of drugs his doctors are still giving him he clearly hasn't beaten it yet, he just wants to project the image that he has.
It's also dangerous to just think of him as a 74 yr old on a bad diet. He's a 74 yr old on a bad diet with access to the best and most expensive health care on the planet, not many other people get that luxury.
Dunno about the steroids, but the experimental cocktail he was given early on was something that only around 250 people have been given previously.

If he hasn't beaten it yet then obviously I take my words back. But other than the antibody treatment, isn't everything else he has been given fairly accessible.
Ok so if that is that what made him better, then we should all be afraid again.
